Worst experience Don't ever buy from them. I put a down payment on a car and they told me they were going to fix the check engine light and then I could come pick it Don't ever buy from them. I put a down payment on a car and they told me they were going to fix the check engine light and then I could come pick it up. I signed the papers and gave them my down payment. Three times they gave me a day that it would be done and now we are on day 11 and they still have my money and the car is not done. I spoke to Mario yesterday who told me they would have it done today (Saturday) and I told him I was going to come in today to either pick up my car or get my money back. He did not object to this. Upon arrival today, I was told that the owner was not there and he is the only person who could give me my money. They threatened to call the police when I told them I was not leaving until I got my money, which they still have. I will never recommend that anybody do business with this dealership. Mario, Pete, and Dan have made this experience particularly awful. They will keep your money and manipulate you. Do not do business with them and if you do I hope you don't have to work with Mario, Pete, or Dan. More
Charlatans I've called in on a used car and got through to sales person without a problem. Got reassured that the car is in running condition and all electronics I've called in on a used car and got through to sales person without a problem. Got reassured that the car is in running condition and all electronics worked. I did my research on the vin and was sure of my good decision to get the car. At that point communication was swift advising me on total payment and sales agreement. I sent the check and arranged out-of-state pick up. I took delivery of the car only to find that its missing a battery. I'm thinking fine, I'll replace it, well the car didn't start! How is that for running condition? Online sales manager sent me a reply saying he'll check on it but I'm not hopeful. I may need to go after these A*^#H*#@les using consumer protection law if I don't hear back from them. You must know that Lemon law protects used car purchases too, you dumb xxxxx.! More
Shysters I bought a used 2008 BMW X3 from these guys. (I knew more about the car than their sales guys--not hard if you're a car geek.) I checked the car thoro I bought a used 2008 BMW X3 from these guys. (I knew more about the car than their sales guys--not hard if you're a car geek.) I checked the car thoroughly and 2 issues surfaced: 1. radio / stereo wasn't working 2. both remote keys didn't work Having owned 2 BMW's prior I knew the keys would be expensive to replace--they gave me their word if I signed the paperwork to complete the transaction, with the repairs in writing, it would get done. Well, they managed to reset the radio (and nearly kill the battery in the process--the morons must have left the door open or lights on or something since, whereas when I first test-drove the car it started instantly. Cranking barely caught! Secondly, they destroyed one key trying to take it apart to recharge / change the battery. I know better than that, it's a non-serviceable rechargeable battery that gets recharged by driving. And, I know the last time I looked into replacing a key from BMW it's around $350. The reason you need 2 working keys is that the remote changes the seats & mirrors (based on which key unlocks it) as well as your radio settings...this is part of the reason you pay the extra $$ for a beamer! To be perfectly honest, I didn't try to negotiate these guys down when I knew there were 2 keys that needed to be replaced. In their written agreement they said there would be two working key fobs. Well, over the phone they represented they had the radio reset and they needed an extra day or two in order to get the keys. Like a fool, since I had it in writing, I mistakenly thought they would keep their word. I dropped off my trade, picked up the car (with 1 non-functional remote) and if you've tried to lock / deal with a BMW with a dead remote, you know how much of a pain this is. (Hint: in order to 'lock' yourself out of the car, you have to close all doors, push the door lock button, then open the driver's door (since it's the ONLY one with a key-hole!) and then lock it manually...fun times especially if you're giving someone a ride and have to tell them the fire-drill in order to lock the car! And even almost as much fun to get to that unlock button in the middle of the car too--Germans are almost too security-paranoid). Bottom-line--do NOT do business with these jerks, and IF you MUST don't trust their written word--make sure everything is DONE BEFORE you pick up the car or drop off your trade since you can't trust them!
