Zumbrota Ford experience I recently purchased my eighth Ford Explorer from Steve Johnson at Zumbrota Ford. I have done business with Steve over the past 24 years because he is very customer oriented. He truly lives up to his "Dealer for the People" mantra. I have always been totally satisfied with my car buying or service experience with Zumbrota Ford. Steve's devotion to the customer is also reflected in all of his employees. As an example, Todd Fitzgibbons delivered the new Explorer to us-he was very knowledgeable about all of the vehicles features and was able to explain and demonstrate the operation of the features with clarity, always being attentive to all of our questions and offering follow up tutorials at any time. Todd was willing to spend as much time as we needed to feel comfortable with the vehicle operation. Further, three days after we took delivery Todd called us to find out if we had further questions and how we liked the new car. Gregg Thompson, the finance guy at Zumbrota, was equally helpful and friendly. He took the time to explain our finance options as well as extended warranty options. He also was very deliberate in making sure we had a good understanding of the finance aspects of the purchase. Again, taking as much time as we needed to gain the understanding and make our decisions.. Zumbrota Ford makes the car purchase and service experience very pleasurable for us. I truly enjoy my visits. It all starts with owner Steve Johnson, who is a person of high integrity and true interest in the customer and that mindset is reflected throughout the dealership. Great Experience I applied for financeing online so when we got to the dealership the paperwork was ready and the process had already been started. The first person I met was Drew and he was very pleasant and friendly. I was very excited to work with Drew because he was making my experience about me and what I wanted and not about just selling me a car. Drew was very knowledgeable about the cars that I was looking at and was also making great suggestions based on my criteria. I would definately tell anyone looking to get a new car to go see Drew at Zumbrota Ford. Drew made every step very smooth and pleasurable. After I decided on a car, Drew introduced me to Matt. Matt was in charge of the financing for the car that I had selected. Matt made every step as smooth and simple as possible. After the service department evaluated it Becky from the service department was explained in great length what was wrong and the cost to repair and told us it was not road safe to drive without the repairs. We decided to purchase a new used vehicle and met with Matt Haas and he showed us the used SUV's that were on the lot. Matt then got Steve Johnson involved to help us get the best price, even though Steve new the issues with our vehicle he gave us a great deal After coming up with the best price Matt Haas helped fill out the credit application. Awesome experince I was a little nervous about going into Zumbrota Ford to find a car, my credit isn't all that great, but low and behold I walked out the same day with I was a little nervous about going into Zumbrota Ford to find a car, my credit isn't all that great, but low and behold I walked out the same day with a 2010 Chevy Colbolt!! :-) Bob was awesome he was straight forward with me and didn't get my hopes up, Matt is a trooper! Living on The Edge I have been living on the edge since my purchase of a new 2014 Ford Edge in April 2014. Best driving car ever. It was very difficult to part with my Ford Escape, but after driving my new Edge, I know I made the right choice/decision. There is no stopping me now! The minute I walked into the showroom until I walked out with a new Edge, I was treated with kindness, respect, friendliness, and courtesy. Bob "Chevy" Chevalier was so helpful and what a guy!. Kind, considerate, congenial. I had never met him before, yet he made me feel like we had been friends forever, and now are. We got to know each other personally and professionally. Bob is very knowledgeable of all the Ford products and was very helpful in making sure I got the features I wanted and within my price range. Bob explained all the ins and outs of the Edge before I drove off the car lot. There was absolutely no pressure to buy. He made my car shopping experience a rewarding one!! Adam Daher went above and beyond the call of duty for me. He made sure I got the financing I needed and the best plan for me. Adam took the time to show me three different options, what my payments would be per month, and the "extras" I could purchase. I fully understood the financial aspect of my purchase after Adam got done explaining them and felt I made the best choice for me. I am also grateful I qualified for the 0% interest offered. I always hear Steve Johnson's advertisement on the radio that he is "the dealer for the people". And now I can verify that he means what he says. He assessed my Escape and gave me what I consider a fair trade- in value. His smile is infectious!! Kristin the Credit Queen is so congenial. I am not sure who was more excited about me getting the Edge, her or me! I chose Zumbrota Ford as I live in Zumbrota, wanted to keep my business within the community, and knew if I needed any service, Zumbrota Ford was right there for me. They also did most of my service work on my Escape, including the oil changes. The service department is excellent. Kudos to Zumbrota Ford and it's staff and service department.
