What struck me was this visit was by no means unusual, rather I realized these folks are and have been that good for a long time. Gary, Enjoyed visiting with you yesterday. If Hondas weren't so reliable and easy to care for, we'd get to visit more often. I think Brent is the service member who has been with you for most of the 25 years or so that I've come to Zimmerman's (I did buy a used car in 1981 from Horst-Zimmerman, but then I was off and about the country for the next decade, so it doesn't really count). You've done a great job of bringing in new crew as the oldsters move on. Reece was a new face for me this time, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him. We noticed that my front tires had more tread than the rears, and even though a tire rotation was on the schedule, we decided we would wait and see for the next check up. And your waiting area let's me get a lot of grading done, especially convenient at this time of year. Overall - well done. Appreciatively yours, Andy More

Maintenance I had them perform a routine maintence, that of replacing the timing belt and water pump. When I started to drive away I noticed an engine vibration I had them perform a routine maintence, that of replacing the timing belt and water pump. When I started to drive away I noticed an engine vibration that was not there before. Initially they were hesitant to to believe that it had anything to do with the worked they performed. There upon I agreed to drive it home in hopes that it was possibly a motor mount issue that would resolve itself. The next day I called the service consultant and he suggested that I bring it back for evaluation. They rechecked the timing and several other possible causes but to no avail. The vibration still persisted. And I was told that the worked performed was correct. So the tech asked me what I wanted them to do. I said please fix it. They then gave me a loaner car to return home. They called later saying basically they did all they could. But the vibration was still there!!! I assumed I would be picking up my car and just living with the vibration waiting for some future engine failure. But to my surprise I discovered that they believed my protests that the vibration was not there before. They reperformed the entire procedure and discovered the cause and corrected it. No more vibration. My faith in the adage the "customer is right" has been renewed. Those at Zimmerman Honda from the personal attention by the service consultant, mechanics even the owner himself made great effort to correct the problem. Zimmerman Honda has won my trust and great admiration! I would recommend them to anyone. Paul S From Kewanee Illinois More

Crv complaints We have a 2012 Honda CR-V. It has a well documented problem. When you start the car after it has been sitting a while or overnight. It sounds like the We have a 2012 Honda CR-V. It has a well documented problem. When you start the car after it has been sitting a while or overnight. It sounds like the starter is going to fall out. Dealership says it has no recall they are working on it. This is a 2012! They have known about this for years but will do nothing to fix it. I will never buy another Honda nor will my kids or family or anyone who will listen to me. Look it up online it's well documented. More

bad tire wear I bought my 2009 Honda CRV in Sept 2012. I had terrible tire noise and finally after a lot of complaining, the dealer did put a different set of ti I bought my 2009 Honda CRV in Sept 2012. I had terrible tire noise and finally after a lot of complaining, the dealer did put a different set of tires on the car. They put the Bridgestone tire that was the same as original factory equipment. This helped the tire noise for a short time. I returned to the service department and were told it was the nature of the tire. The tire wear continually got worse and the tire noise was deafening. I had a year warranty and just before the year was over in August of 2013, we returend tot he service department complaining again about the tire noise & wear. I was blamed for the problem because I had not rotated the tires. I know all about rotating tires and at this point had not rotated on purpose so that I did not ruin all four tires. At least it was only the back tires that were bad. Just this week, I finally decied to put on new tires and took my car to the Firestone/Bridgestone tire dealer. I told him of the issues and told him to be sure the alignment was correct so that the new set of tires would wear properly. There was a defective part on my CRV, the tire dealer had to replace the rear adjust arm. The front tires had worn just like they were designed to. The back tires had terrible uneven wear. If the service manager at Zimmerman Honda would have taken the time to actually look at my Honda CRV, instead of just saying the tires were suppose to be noisy and then saying it was because of my lack of tire rotation, I would still be driving with the same tires and would not have had to spend $916 out of my pocket. The part replaced by the tire dealer, should have been replaced by Zimmerman Honda and under the warranty I had. Short version, do NOT trust the Zimmerman Honda service department and do not wait too long like I did. More
Gus did a great job and I would recommend anyone to go see him for their new car! He did everything he could to make sure I had the best experience possible I could tell he cared about me as a customer an see him for their new car!
