This is my second new Honda from Zimmermans and I will certainly be back for the next one. The first one I purchased was when they were still in down town Rock Island. We were certain that we wanted a Honda, but still weighing the decision between CIVIC and CRV. We stopped by Zimmerman on a Wednesday evening not realizing that the dealership closed at 6pm. It was about 6:10 and Sean was still on the floor and noticed us. He immediately came to the door and asked if he could help. We explained that we were looking at CIVICs and CRVs--- we currently own a CRV, so were familiar with the CRV, but we wanted to drive a CIVIC. Despite the hour - and the fact that the dealership was closed- Sean brought us around CIVIC to test drive. Invited us to take all the time we needed. WOW!! This was an amazing experience. The purchase was basically for my 18 year old son. He absolutely fell in love with the CIVIC. Sean invited us back to meet with a sales person on Thursday. We knew at that point that we would be getting the CIVIC, the only choices left were color and model. Thursday was a big day for my son.... it was his decision on color and model. We arrived at the dealership and we met Noel - Sean had let Noel know about us (and our after hours visit) and what we were looking at. Noel was a quintessential sales person. I have never had a better or more enjoyable experience purchasing a vehicle. Although this was the 5th Honda that I've purchased, it was the most pleasurable purchase. Noel had answers to all our questions- helped us find the perfect car. Noel was such a gentleman -- Actually everyone in the dealership was friendly and accommodating. Noel introduced us to another Zimmerman staff who attended U of Nebraska-- the college my son is heading to in the fall....by the end of the purchase, it felt like we were all friends. What a great first car buying experience for my son. Ricky had helped us on the financial end of previous purchases. He is so easy to deal with and pointed out the great deals in extended warranties- without pressure to buy. We all left with smiles and a beautiful new black CIVIC. I purchased my first Honda from Zimmerman in 1984- but with Sean, Noel and Ricky as our team, I have never had such a pleasurable experience!! More
