This is my first Honda. I had some issues with my sales rep not returning my calls once the car was purchased but other than that I would say it is all fine and will hope Honda lives up to it's name. I just got picky about service when I made a simple request and it started to feel like I didn't matter once the purchase had been made. Just some what disappointed with lack of customer service nothing more. More

My husband and I went to Zimmerman Honda on a Thursday and by the following Tuesday we were driving away in our 2014 Honda CRV EX! We were also looking at the Mazda CX5, but after visiting the new Zimmerman Honda facility in Moline, meeting Jonathan, test driving the CRV, and seeing how much they would offer for our trade-in Lexus - we knew that this was the place to be and to buy. Jonathan was a friendly and intelligent person to work with who would answer our questions honestly, pick up our phone calls immediately, and helped us every step of the way to set up our new vehicle. The first time my then new husband, Kevin, and I needed a new vehicle he said we had to go see Ruth at Zimmerman. We did, we bought and we returned!! That vehicle was a 2004 CRV. I loved my 2004 and couldn't see buying anything else. Hubby wanted me to drive other types so I did but I knew and Ruth knew I wasn't going to be happy until I got behind the wheel of another CRV. We were both right. Kevin has been a return customer for 21 years. I plan on remaining Ruth's customer for a long while. It is wonderful to find an honest, happy, and fun sales person. This is such a huge purchase for me. You see we buy new and keep until they die or I wreck them. (My first time, honest!!!) And let's face it, you can't find an inexpensive car. It is really a commitment. That is why we keep looking her up. I trust her. Now the service department. Kind, courteous and patient. Time counts in everyone's schedule and they respect mine. We wanted a Honda Odyssey for a while, but were stuck in a lease we weren't sure we could get out of. In October we contacted Jim, who recommend we come in to see an Odyssey to be sure this is the vehicle a lease we weren't sure we could get out of. We met with Jim and he showed us and explained in detail all the features of the Odyssey and took us on a test drive, knowing we weren't able to purchase the vehicle that day. Jim and my husband kept in touch over the next couple of months with Jim saying he would let us know when any good deals came around. Happy Honda days was starting and a great time to purchase a New Honda. Jim had the paper work emailed to us at home so when we went into the dealership everything went smoothly and quickly. He again took us to our new Odyssey and explained every feature on it in detail. I never felt pressure from him to buy a car, he let us make the decision and take our time. I would/will definitely recommend anyone looking for a car to go to Zimmerman and ask for Jim. We will definitely buy the rest of our cars from him.
