However, shortly after leaving the service center, I smelled a burning oil odor. I thought it would go away, but it was noticeable over this past weekend when I filled up with gas. What can be done to resolve this? Also, after the tire rotation, I noticed the car drifting to the right more than before. Is it possible that my alignment is off after a tire rotation? Please advise. More

Did not fulfill request-Lied that it was done. Had gone to other dealers for a year, because had to wait two weeks for an oil change appointment for our three Nissans. Thought I would try again. Asked service writer to ask that tire pressure be brought up to specs during rotation. He said yes and that they would add an extra pound more than that due to winter temperatures. Another service writer came in when it was done. At that time I asked him if the tire pressure had been adjusted. He did not ask the service person, but said yes, we even added an extra pound due to winter temperatures. Half way back to Stoughton, the driving aid chart on the dash showed the same 29 to 30 lbs. that I was concerned about in the first place. Not the 33 to 34 lbs. that they had lied about. After several transferred calls and two answering machine messages, an hour later I was called back. After apologizing saying they usually always check tire pressure. He said to drive all the way back to Madison to get them filled anytime for free. During the conversation, he started laughing at me and I hung up. After buying and servicing many Nissans since the early 2000’s. I find that Rosen and Janesville Nissan accommodate and treat me a lot better. Maybe bigger isn’t always better. I used to think Zimbrick felt like family. Not any more. Just a number now. More

Badger Game-Time Purchase My experience may well be completely different than what others had but here goes. We drove over 2 hours to look at an electric car on the lot after h My experience may well be completely different than what others had but here goes. We drove over 2 hours to look at an electric car on the lot after having provided the on-line sales team with our information including information on our trade-in car. The salesman was up-front in explaining he didn't know much about the electric cars (Tesla) and went for a test-drive with us. I was the one to ask if the car could be charged during our transaction discussion such that if we struck a deal we could actually drive it the direction of home and make it there. After we'd sat down and discussed the details (the annoying back and forth between salesman and finance guy) and came to an agreement, I'd asked a second time if we could get a charge on the car to which my son was allowed to take it to a charging station. There was a period of unexpected delay in completing the paperwork but when we did get on the road we made it to a point where we could utilize a non-Tesla charging station to provide added assurance of making it home. At this point we discovered the adaptor needed (that is provided with these cars when purchased) was not in the trunk with the rest of the charging apparati. We made a call and a coworker picked us up and the car remain parked in the lot overnight next to the charger. The following day I borrowed an adaptor from a friend and car made it home. A follow-up email from the salesman was received 2 days later with both a question for me and the hope the ride home was pleasant. My brief reply included the lack of the adaptor in the trunk to which I awaited feedback of any sort from the salesman. After waiting 48 hours, I resent the email to the person in charge of the financial transaction and once again awaited an acknowledgment of the email sent and comments of any type. Another 48 hours has passed and still no feedback from either dealership employee. The experience then was no, not awesome as the email query for dealership rating asked me, neither at the dealership nor away from the dealership. A transaction could be beautifully smooth and flawless or woefully dismal, either way, a punctual response to a customer's comment is an expectation of high-level employees. More
Poor communication I made an appointment to have an oil and filter change and to have four new tires installed. When I got to the dealership, I was informed that there I made an appointment to have an oil and filter change and to have four new tires installed. When I got to the dealership, I was informed that there would not be time to install the tires. I had to use a loaner and return the following day. Seems I should have had an earlier appointment or been told ahead of time that the work could not be performed when scheduled. Very disappointing. Also surprised that the vehicle was not washed since in previous visits it had been and at the other dealership I use the washing does occur unless I indicate I don't want a wash. More
