car went into manual mode w/o using shifter Chris serviced the car for this visit. I had an issue with the car going into manual mode just after I bought the vehicle and then again several weeks Chris serviced the car for this visit. I had an issue with the car going into manual mode just after I bought the vehicle and then again several weeks ago. Chris was able to explain what may have happened since there was a bulletin related to this issued by GMC. He showed me what to do the next time the vehicle is accidentally put in manual mode by unknowingly hitting one of the levers on the steering column. He also instructed me to ask about this next time the car is serviced in case GMC has figured out how to disengage the - and = levers. Thanks to all involved. More
