We are always welcomed upon arrival. Our dog comes along and is accepted by everyone. The facility is always clean, and the waiting area stocked with coffee and other beverages. They finished the job. But service person was trying to be polite but always came across as rude. Tried to be helpful. But continued to tell me how great they were doing for us. When we were paying for the service. Upon completion of the job our car was filthy. Oil and dirt everywhere. He blamed it on someone else saying the car came like that and it was the fault of others. I can’t prove anything but the complete lack of understanding customer service was terrible. I was quoted $100 for diagnostics. Then received a call saying that it would now be $300 diagnostics. And they were doing me a favor because it was cheaper than it should be. I’m not understanding why I would get a quote and then told something else but I had no choice since the work had to be done at a dealership and I would have to pay to have the vehicle towed to a different dealership. My problem isn’t with the people who you meet in the service center per se. They are just chirping the lines they are told to say. My issue is the gaslighting that occurs because of it. I am a service service center per se. They are just chirping the lines they are told to say. My issue is the gaslighting that occurs because of it. I am a service engineer I know the games I play stupid when I’m there to see how things are handled. Toyota has recalled 102000 engines to the Toyota tundra. My tundra has been idling rough for last 30k miles. It’s embarrassing having people in and I have to make excuses that it’s a “cleaning” cycle which the engines do but it’s not the problem. I have been a huge fan of Toyota my whole life. I have owned a tundra from each generation. This one is by far the worst. This is compounded by the 600 dollar every 40k miles spark plug change requirement. I was told it’s because of the turbo engine which is not true. It is for emissions requirements that Toyota set. I was told it’s should help the idling. It has not. This is the roughest V6 I’ve driven in the last 15 years. Toyota is dragging their feet on the fix, not the dealerships fault I get that but don’t gas light me. I’m not a 60 year old who doesn’t know anything about cars. Spark plugs that cost 16 dollars on from Toyota shouldn’t cost 22.99 on top of 450 dollars for an hour of labor. I work on million dollar pieces of much more advanced equipment than a truck and we charge 250 an hour. It should not cost 600 dollars to change 6 spark plugs I don’t care if you have to remove half the top end to get to it. Then don’t turn around and hold my paid extended warranty hostage if I don’t get it. To wrap this all up I came in for my 45k mile maintenance. I was at 47350 so I got the oil change since I was more in the middle between a 5 and 10k interval. I came in for my 40k maintenance all to Ziegler and was not told about the spark plugs once. So there’s Ziegler not conforming to the schedule. On top of all this my “skid plate” was reattached by what I assume was a malnourished butterfly because it fell almost completely off within 100 miles. The resolve from Zeigler to my tore up “skid plate” we can just reattach it for you. How about next time replace it because it was the mechanic who screwed that up there last time. Also this time I checked under the hood because my faith has been dashed from last time I found a magnetic strip used to hold screws sitting half dangling near my radiator fan. Ask for pictures id love to return it to the mechanic who left it in there and potentially could have caused damage to something in my engine bay More
