Dedicated and Hardworking employees I was really surprised to assisted by many employees that truly helped to make my new car purchase pleasant and not stressful. I talked to Keri on the internet and set up an appointment for 7pm and she was very helpful in answering all my questions before I came in. When I came, in almost an hour early, they did not make me wait instead they got a salesman to help me right away even though he was dealing with another customer. He asked Aaron to help me and Aaron went above and beyond to make my experience enlightening and interesting. I was interested in purchasing a new Prius, so after getting all my information Aaron went out and pulled up a new Prius for me to test drive. There were flash flood warnings and it was raining very hard but Aaron pulled the new Prius into the garage and proceeded to give me a lot of great information about the Prius before I drove it. After the rain and hail let up we test drove the new Prius and I was given even more information about the car. I was truly impressed about his knowledge of the car and that helped me to know that this was truly a car I needed to purchase. Then the real work began as we got down to the business part of the purchase. We were unable to complete the purchase that night because by now it was close to 10 pm and most lending institutions had closed. Jason was working hard to truly find a deal fo me but we decide to wait until the next day. Aaron called about 2 pm the next day and the price was really way more that I had wanted to pay so I had decided I was not going to make the purchase. I still had to go back to the dealership to pick up my deposit so as soon as I could get away from my job, I went back. Both Jason and Aaron met with me and assured me that they were going to do everything they could to do to get the sale so it was fair to both parties. I didn't think it was going to happen but several hours later Jason gave me the good word that he had worked out a price that I felt I good work with. Their hardwork, courtesy, knowledge, and dedication helped put me in a car that I truly love. Thank you very much! More
Know the interest rate before you sign! My wife and I have bought 5 cars from this dealership, 4 from the previous owners and 1 from the new owners. Joe Jardina (sales) and Linda (service) My wife and I have bought 5 cars from this dealership, 4 from the previous owners and 1 from the new owners. Joe Jardina (sales) and Linda (service) are the reasons we have come to this dealership over the years, even though another Toyota dealer is only 2 miles away. Jason Webster was filling in for the regular Finance person named Theresa and I want to share my experience with him so others will be aware of what was deemed a "mis-communication". They did not have the Highlander we wanted and had to search for it. We agreed on a trade in with Joe and Theresa told us with a credit rating of 784 we would be in the low 2% for 60 months. That was fine. A few days later we returned to sign the paperwork. Jason placed the finance paperwork in front of us and went right to the extended warranty and began talking about monthly payments and the number of months and how the extended warranty only was a few dollars more. I cut him off and asked about the 5.5% and he said that was the interest rate. I told him Teresa had said we would be in the 2% range. He responded by saying that "she shopped around and this was the best deal". I told him this was unacceptable and walked out the front door to tell the guy to stop putting the license plate on the new Highlander. When I came back inside, my wife told me Mr. Webster went to his office. After 15 minutes and returned with a 2.1% rate and we signed and left. My gut feeling was this guy tried to pull a fast one on us by directing us to the monthly payments. Hard to prove this, but any Finance person in the past 5-8 years knows that a customer with a 786 credit rating will not pay a high 5.5% interest rate. It is a game, and if one out of ten fall for it the dealership profits. I never got an explanation, he blamed Theresa which I did not believe. Folks, this is exactly what happened and I encourage everyone to READ THE PAPERWORK AND UNDERSTAND ALL THE NUMBERS before signing. All the good sales work Joe Jardino and all the excellent service provided by Linda over the years got over shadowed by what I feel was an attempt to pull one over on me. The dealership advertises new owners and a new attitude, the ad should also include new and deceitful revenue tactics. I am truly disgusted over this experience. More

Bait & switch or just inept? We found a car on the Racine Toyota & Scion (formerly, Gentile Toyota) website and printed out the page with the published price (documentation availa We found a car on the Racine Toyota & Scion (formerly, Gentile Toyota) website and printed out the page with the published price (documentation available). After the sales pitch, test drive, etc. the salesman began price negotiations with a price about $7000.00 higher than the published price. When confronted, he left, and returned with another salesman who told us the published price was a "mistake" and that there was "no way" they'd sell the car to us for the published price. Their manager later told us that as a newer business, they were prone to making mistakes and that this kind of thing never happened before and implied that we were just out of luck. Thus, we were left wondering if they are either too dishonest or simply too stupid to sell cars, as they are surely one or the other. Possible answer: while we thought at the time that we were unique in our being victimized by Racine Toyota, we found that Edmunds.com has a review dated 01/22/14 which reflects a very similar incident suffered by yet another victim of the dealership and The Better Business Bureau (of which this dealership is apparently not a member) has three similar reviews.
