I am sharing a very disappointing experience that we have just experienced at this dealership…we recently purchased a car for my son (who has been working since the age of 15 to buy a car) it was a used car just experienced at this dealership…we recently purchased a car for my son (who has been working since the age of 15 to buy a car) it was a used car …when we test drove the vehicle we did try out each feature ..because it was a warm day we tried the heat but did not leave it on for more than a minute or two …the very next day after we drove the car off the lot we discovered that the heat would only stay warm for about a total of 3 minutes…we took it to a dealership here in town for them to look at and they told us that it would need a new automatic climate control …they advised us to contact the dealership where we purchased the vehicle because it would be an expensive fix …I contacted our salesman Christian right away and he told us to bring the car in to have someone there look at it …we brought it in last Thursday ( 10/27)…when we were in the process of purchasing the car, Christian had told us the previous owner worked in the service dept there …I had to finally call the dealership on Tuesday to see what was found out about the car ..I was told by Mark who is Christian’s team leader that the repairs would cost $800 to fix and that we needed to pay half of the cost …I 💯 believe that the previous owner knew about this problem ..because obviously the heat would have been used in the winter…and that we were sold a car that had a major issue that was undisclosed to us …we have purchased our last 5 vehicles from Bob Rohrmans and have always been very satisfied…I feel that this is dishonest and we should not have to pay anything for a problem with the car that obviously was broken when we purchased it …I totally understand the risk of buying a used car and not the extended warranty but I also know this problem was pre existing and that I am being taken advantage of …Mark said that he would talk to his supervisor about this …but I have never received a phone call back …I am hoping this message will be brought to the attention of someone honest who actually cares about customer service and honesty …because of $400 Bob Rohrman has lost our business and I will make sure others know about the dishonesty of this situation. Last year the gentleman made sure everything was checked with my oil change. This year this man tried to tell me it must me electrical because my key didn’t work. He put a battery in my other key & had th with my oil change. This year this man tried to tell me it must me electrical because my key didn’t work. He put a battery in my other key & had the nerve to tell me that because it’s 12 yrs old The other key worked fine once I paid for a battery. Last year I would’ve given you a 10. This year a 1 Sorry. Never met someone that rude. I’ll try to find another Subaru It took me 1 hr +to get there. More
