Extremely dissapointed, Not a Win/Win situation for me I had arranged to purchase a vehicle via long distance. I am 2.5 hours from Kenosha. I had sent specific information via email as to what I wanted o I had arranged to purchase a vehicle via long distance. I am 2.5 hours from Kenosha. I had sent specific information via email as to what I wanted on this vehicle and was told that they had found one for me. I was going to put a substantial amount down and requested to be provided the amount I needed to arrange to come to the dealership with so that my payment would remain around $200 a month. I was sent that info in and email.......so I set out on that Friday to pick up the car. After arriving and going over everything and picking out the product that I wanted that supported the remote start via mobile device, I was referred to finance. While sitting with the finance person, my sales associate came in and informed me that she had made a mistake and that she provided me the price of the vehicle at a 0% interest rate for financing vs. the 2.9 that we had discussed. Well that meant that I would need to put more down on the vehicle than what I had planned.Then a few minutes later, the sales associate returned to us stating that she had made another mistake and that the remote start that we had discussed, was actually not an option on the 2019 Subaru Legacy Sport. My only option to get the remote start was to now purchase it at $500 more. Then while discussing this, the Finance person corrected her stating it would be $575...... My friend with me stated that the remote should be covered by the dealership, as there were some costly mistakes made here that were affecting only me, but that didn't happen. I certainly did not expect to have this cost me in excess of $1,600 (additional interest added and remote start). As this kept getting worse as I was sitting in the finance booth, I was hoping to experience more of a WIN/WIN situation here...... (I accept the adjustment of the error of the quote for the price of the car and the dealership accepted the error of the remote and cover that expense) That did not happen. I was very diappointed.... This was my first purchase of a brand new car. In addition, there was an issue of my contacts not all importing in the car and I was told that she would look into this.... I had not heard back from her, and went to another dealership in Green Bay for that issue. I also have experienced several times, my radio not shutting off when I open the door after shutting the car off. Not sure what is up with that, but would like to know if something needs to be done like a reset of the computer system or something like that. So there you have my experience with Kenosha Subaru. My friends are like, WOW, can't believe they didn't do you right! And just a footnote..... my sales associate kept saying how "annoying" things were, like the loud speaker system paging people, how annoyed she was with the music playing in the background, as it was distracting her while talking to me. She was even annoyed when my friend put out a question about the car...... yeah.... lol. So there you have my experience with Kenosha Subaru. My friends are like, WOW, can't believe they didn't do you right! And just a footnote..... my sales associate kept saying how "annoying" things were, like the loud speaker system paging people, how annoyed she was with the music playing in the background, as it was distracting her while talking to me. She was even annoyed when my friend put out a question about the car...... yeah.... lol. I would welcome you making an effort to make this a more pleasant experience for me. More
Happy with salesperson, finance department needs works We recently bought two cars from Kenosha Subaru. The salesperson Joe was great, and even offered to get me ice cream while we waited for financing of my son's vehicle. My son had a great experience buying his first car. thank you for that! However, my husband traded in his Toyota for a Subaru Forester. We love the Forester and are glad to have an SUV for camping and road trips! There were issues with the leasing contract with the taxes, and the payoff from the trade in. In the end. everything was taken care of, however I feel more communication between Kenosha Subaru and ourselves would have been appreciated. We were never contacted about these issues. If I had not checked on them, we would have had a late payment on the trade in and a ding to our credit. Also, I had to ask for my bag of 'goodies" that I was supposed to receive for coming in. Overall, a great dealership and a good experience. I strongly suggest Kenosha Subura work on these little issues, and next time I can give them five stars. More
