Poor Customer Service I was searching the web for a CTS on Sunday and made an inquiry via e-mail. I was called this morning they let me know the 2012 Gray Cadilliac 4 door I was searching the web for a CTS on Sunday and made an inquiry via e-mail. I was called this morning they let me know the 2012 Gray Cadilliac 4 door CTS was still available and that the dealership was open today. I had the time to drive 30 miles to the dealership this morning and someone called me 2 times while I was on my way to assure we were coming. When I was greeted at the door the sales staff mentioned that person was not available. The staff also informed my wife and I that the 2012 Gray Cadilliac 4 door CTS was sold Saturday. They didn't check the status of the vehicle! This was a total waste of my time, I mentioned on the phone that was the only vehicle I was interested in, yet they still continued to give me bad information.This is poor customer relations and not any way to treat people. BTW, I should have known better from the dealings I have had with other dealerships under the Ziegler Name; Chevy and Dodge in Schaumburg also have poor customer service. Thanks for confirming the Ziegler name continues to provide poor to no customer service. More
Amazing salesperson, Hector! I was in the market for a new car and was set on a 370 Z. I found one on cargurus in Gurnee at Ziegler Nissan. I was prepared to go there when someone I was in the market for a new car and was set on a 370 Z. I found one on cargurus in Gurnee at Ziegler Nissan. I was prepared to go there when someone informed me my local nissan dealership should be able to find me what I wanted, so I contacted them. BIG MISTAKE. They assured me they had exactly what I was looking for and could expect the car at the dealership (Southlake Nissan in Hobart IN ) no later than Saturday. On Saturday afternoon I phoned the dealership to see if I could pick up my car and was in ford my salesman was on vacation and a car had not even been located yet. I was also told the car Ziegler was advertising didn't even exist! Needless to say Hector was a great salesman! Very professional on the phone, sending me pictures of the car after being told it didn't exist and meeting 3 hours before he was scheduled to be there on Monday! He worked out the deal for me...ordered me lunch....and even called me to make sure I made the 2 hour drive home safely! He showed me all the devices the car had and how to use them, inspected the car to be sure it was cleaned and waxed to a high standard, and made sure I was completely satisfied with ourchase...even following through the next day with the XM radio. I can not say enough good things about Hector and Ziegler Nissan! I will make the 2 hour drive everytime! Thank you so much Hector! More
Done deal Beware: if you want to buy a car here becareful. We found a good deal for a car, when we decided to go ahead and purchase it we were ready to go to my Beware: if you want to buy a car here becareful. We found a good deal for a car, when we decided to go ahead and purchase it we were ready to go to my bank and get the loan we were told that if we do not finance with them it would be another $1000 for not financing with them. After we told them our bank they said that they finance with them. Since we got a lower finance rate with the bank (that they work with) they decided to still charge us the extra $1000 since we got a lower rate instead of using the higher rate (it's like Peter robbing Paul .... That's what we were told by Rob because "we went around" to get a better deal). Anyhow...the only good thing about this dealer was our sales associate Alex Aguilar (he wasn't even our first associate because the one we met with failed to show up at the time he told us the following day to seal the deal). He was lost in the whole process but he tried his best to help us out in such a professional manner. Oh and let me add, that after all of the paper work was signed, and we discussed our concern regarding the additional $1000 (which we did have to pay even though we financed with a bank they work with) we did make it clear that we will never recommend this dealer to anyone we know and we would leave a review about our experience .... Rob came back and told us that if we were going to leave a bad review we didn't have to take the car...I repeat...all of the paper work was signed, plates and registration were all ready in my name...that was very professional of him. More
Really good customer service I am VERY picky and demanding customer. Rob was able to put with me for a couple of months actually before I have made a final decision. I drove from Indiana to pick up my car, it was that worth it. Had to recharge along the way however. Overall it was a fun experience with the LEAF :-) Best price, best service. Will return. Terrible Experience I opted to have a remote start installed and a protection package added to my new Rogue. I was told that the remote start would take a couple of days I opted to have a remote start installed and a protection package added to my new Rogue. I was told that the remote start would take a couple of days to install, and I should come back on Thursday of the following week (6/12/2014). I had no problems with this, I understand that it takes some time to install these items. I was told to come back on Saturday 06/14/2014 to get me car with my protection package and remote start installed. To my surprise, the person helping me at the time (Nicole Schoer) told me that "She forgot to ask for both keys to install the remote start, so I will need to keep your car until Monday). Extremely irritated, I let her know that was not possible, and we would need to schedule another time. We Scheduled a date of 6/17/2014 for me to drop my car back off. She apologized for the delay and assured me that "we will take of you for the inconvenience when you come back". I understood the mistake, despite my irritation with the issue, and began to drive home. Om my way home, I noticed my driver side mirror had severe scratches on it. I took pictures of the scotches, and called Nicole to let her know of the problem. She informed me she would take a look when I brought the car back Tuesday. I accepted that, and returned Tuesday. As I dropped of my car, she asked if I could leave it there until Thursday 6/19/2014, so that she could be there to personally look at the damage done to the mirror. I agreed, assuming that she was trying to make things right. I returned on Thursday to pick up my car, and the remote start had been installed (finally). when I asked about the mirror, Nicole told me she had to meet another customer, but would have a porter come and look at it. The porter came outside, and tried his best to clean the mirror, but we both knew a replacement was needed. I stayed at the dealer for another 30 minutes tracking down Nicole. I finally found her, and she came out with me to look at the mirror (wouldn't tis have already happened if you wanted to keep my car an extra day to personally oversee the damage?). She told me she will see if they can order the glass, walked back into the dealer, and wished me a good day. I was furious. I got nothing for my inconvenience, time I took from work, or aggravation. This situation was handled terribly, and I have not yet heard anything back about the damage. This will likely be the last new car I buy from Rosen after many previous sales. It is very disappointing to see this type of service being offered to customers. I would like to note that I worked with Matt Wagner on my sale. He is a phenomenal sales person, and I have always looked to him in my previous purchases, If I could rate him alone, It would be all excellent across the board. I hope that Matt gets all the recognition deserved, because he truly is great! More
