Had a great experience with Junior and Caryn. I went to Elhart on Friday on a whim to look at and test drive a Tuscon Hybrid that I had been interested in for a while. That car was reserved for I went to Elhart on Friday on a whim to look at and test drive a Tuscon Hybrid that I had been interested in for a while. That car was reserved for someone else who was coming to look at it the same day, but they ultimately decided to go with something else. Junior then reserved the vehicle for me to come look at the next day. Saturday I took the vehicle home and Monday I finished signing the paperwork. They really made me feel like part of the family and very comfortable as a first time new car buyer. They were so helpful, accommodating, and transparent about everything that I was getting with my vehicle. Never once did I feel pressure like many other salesmen have made me feel. So happy that I was able to give them my business and be a part of #TeamdelaRosa! More
Back in November 2022 our 2 year old vehicle blew the motor. While Hyundai and not Elhart is to blame for that when we had it towed in to get it looked at the customer service was absolutely horrible. We motor. We needed to get a loaner vehicle figured out so my wife could get to and from work. When we went in to the Hyundai side of the dealership nobody including the managers could be bothered to look up from their phones for more than a few seconds to even try to help. They sounded annoyed they we were there and just told us what they thought we wanted to hear to get us to leave. Michelle in the rental department who was in on her day off was the only person that was honest with us about what to expect with this whole ordeal. The service department wasn’t any better and we ended up have to take time off work to go in and get it figured out. I spend almost an hour on the phone with the service manager and all he would do is say they can’t do anything and try to get me off the phone. Only after I wouldn’t just take no for an answers they finally were able to get a loaner car figured out. They said that the new motor wouldn’t be in until the middle of January which again isn’t fault of Elhart but when the middle of January came around I left at least one if not a couple voicemails everyday for two weeks and never got a call back. It wasn’t until a few weeks and more annoyed voicemails later that I finally got a call back that they don’t know when the motor will be in. Which is a Hyundai problem not an Elhart problem. When the motor did finally come in almost 5 months after the original issue it only took three days to get the car back. After this experience I will never get another car from or have anything to do with Elhart Auto Campus. I will take the car an extra 45 minutes to Grand Rapids to get any work done on it. More
Helpful and friendly dealership, well worth the drive from Grand Rapids. All the issues that come up in the new car purchase and trade in were handled in a in a professional manner. Junior De La Rosa was very personal which made it a lot easier to ask questions and feel comfortable doing so. He made my daughters new car experience very easy. Caryn in financing was very personal also easier to ask questions and feel comfortable doing so. He made my daughters new car experience very easy.
