We had several discussions w Buyer Beware if you got to Racine Honda!!! I recently found a 2012 Honda Civic on their website that caught my attention. We had several discussions with a salesman, James Leipski, who repeatedly told us about the car's excellent condition. We agreed to tentative terms and paid a $500 deposit to hold the car. We drove an hour to the dealership for a test drive, inspection, and the purchase. After a test drive, the manager (Eric) hastily asked us if we wanted to purchase the vehicle which I thought was odd having not inspected the vehicle. I asked for them to pull the car into a service bay so that I could look it over. I realize used cars are used and not perfect but after a few minutes noticed the car had hail damage with hundreds of ping marks on the trunk lid, roof, and hood. The damage was somewhat subtle but obvious under the light of the service bay. I brought the damage to the attention of the manager who then became irritated and rude after I told him that we were not interested in the vehicle. Honda makes an excellent vehicle but I would not trust Racine Honda. As noted by the manager, these vehicles are inspected from head to toe before being sold on their lot. If so, they were aware of the hail damage. Is it too much to ask for Racine Honda to be honest with a potential customer??? I rarely take the time to comment on issues but my interaction with Racine Honda was over the top. Take my advice...go elsewhere. More
Service Dept Scammers This was my first visit to Racine Honda and it will be my last. I took my car in for an oil change and was told I needed rear brakes and new rotors NO This was my first visit to Racine Honda and it will be my last. I took my car in for an oil change and was told I needed rear brakes and new rotors NOW and rear differential service for a cost of $434.95. I took my car for a 2nd opinion and was told I still had 50% left on my front and back pads. This makes me wonder if they even changed my oil! Good way to lose a new customer and get a bad review. More

Here is is 3 months later and I am still waiting for that call to have the parts and service that I already paid for installed. They were all friendly and attentive when I was there buying but follow up and service are non existent. More

Liked a couple cars at Racine Honda but I promised myself that I was shopping. Spent one day all over. The car I fell for was at kenosha Honda, some hours later I walked out on them sick to my stomach . What a racket they have going on over there. My next fav was in west allis, but I really wanted to stay local and I really liked Kevin at Racine Honda. As luck would have it Kevin got ahold of me the next morning with a car that just came in a trade. He must have really been listening because he matched me to a car beautifully. Through the whole process Kevin was great. Even brought us something to drink. Soooo glad kenosha honda failed to screw me over . I ended up with a better car, much better price and worked with some really great guys. The finance man " Amos " was very easy to work with. A process I dread was pretty easy here. Thanks guys. Here us why --- When it became evident I would not be able to afford my dream "new" car, Reno and Scott put their heads together for me! A used cross tour with all the bells and whistles that I was dreaming of happen to be traded in and what did they do? They thought of me immediately & set the stage to surprise me. The end of the story, of course, is the beautiful car in my garage. This is my very first dealership experience were not only will I go back again but I will recommend them to others. More
