They do give you a 1/2 tank of gas in a used car, which was really nice since most used car lots send it out on E. I really wish they would allow a 4.5 star review because that’s what they really are. If your looking for a car I recommend to go to Elhart and to remember they do offer guaranteed financing. I set an appointment with them on a Thursday to meet that next day at noon and look into financing. I showed up 10 minutes early and Jen was not there. When I asked for her the older guy (Ron?) told me she usually did not come in on Fridays but maybe she will be in soon. I waited 15 minutes till George come up to me and had me fill out some paperwork and told me she was coming but was running late. Jen showed up at 12:30 and eventually called me into her office. She apologized and said she thought the appointment was on Saturday. She asked if I had found a car there I liked, I told her yes and explained what one with the price, I even told her it’s straight out her window at the Hyundai building. She started putting in all my info to get my financing together, I do not have great credit so I understand it’s a challenge. She asks if I like a car that is double the price of the one I told her I liked, did some number crunching on the computer and told me my monthly cost on that car. She then asked if I wanted to go look at that one or test drive it. I told her no and I had to go back to work since it took so long for her to show up. She tried to offer I take it to work as a test drive or take it home for the night. I told her no and got up to leave, she asks if I didn’t like the price, I said yes I wanted one a lot cheaper and it’s not the type of car I wanted. She looks online and find the one I wanted, apologized and said she would work on the numbers Saturday and call me Monday. Monday afternoon I stopped in to test drive the car I liked took it to my shop (work for an independent shop around the corner). When I got there she was talking to someone, brought the car back and she was gone. I asked Mike to have her call me, he took my info and I have still not heard a thing from her. I called her direct line Wednesday a little before 6pm and left her a message. I never heard back. George called me Thursday night and told me they had a car that would be good and the financing would work but at this point they have lost my business. It has been over a week and I have not heard back. I do not know if I am approved or what I am approved for. The sad part is the customers that come to our shop trust us and ask where do go to buy the next car. I used to say Elhart but now will be changing and letting them know Crown or Wyrick is the place. If anyone is looking at buying a car from Elhart I recommend they see George only. He is a great guy and easy to work with. More

All talk, no deal After deciding to pursue a different truck at another dealership, I told my buddy about a truck I found at Elhart GMC in Holland, MI. He called and got a deal worked out, but he decided not to get it and cancelled his visit. Since I didn't end up buying the other truck, I traveled over 4 hours to Elhart to get the truck since my buddy said he made a good deal with them. I was told at the dealership that the "best they could do" was $350 more than the deal they promised my buddy. When I asked why I couldn't get the same deal, they first said sometimes different things are said when they are trying to make deals over the phone with someone out of state and then they denied that deal was ever made despite it being mentioned in e-mail. It appears this dealership tries to lure customers in with a good deal but are unable to be honest and keep their word. More
