Buying a new car from this dealership was a pleasurable experience from the salesman(Skye), finance(Dan) and the manager(Robert). All were very professional, polite and attentive without the high pressure experience from the salesman(Skye), finance(Dan) and the manager(Robert). All were very professional, polite and attentive without the high pressure sales pitch. I have already suggested to someone that they go to this dealership to purchase their next car. More
We stopped in to look at used vehicles and kind of had an idea of what we were looking for. Mark talked to us about the great lease option on the Nissan Sentra. We test drove it, liked it, liked the price idea of what we were looking for. Mark talked to us about the great lease option on the Nissan Sentra. We test drove it, liked it, liked the price and picked it up two days later. Thank you to Mark and the Elhart staff. You did a great job answering all our questions and concerns. More
I have always dreaded "car-shopping," but I had a fantastic experience at Elhart. The salesman here aren't your "typical" car salesman - they're super helpful but not pushy at all. I did a lot of a fantastic experience at Elhart. The salesman here aren't your "typical" car salesman - they're super helpful but not pushy at all. I did a lot of comparing & this place was able to give me the best price, best interest rate, best warranty - even the best color! - without any hassle. They made buying a car fun! :) More
Came in for a tweek on my 2010 Hyundai Elantra. Wanted the car to lock at about 15 mph. The service was quick and personable. Elhart even checked out my car free of charge and found a problem with it that the car to lock at about 15 mph. The service was quick and personable. Elhart even checked out my car free of charge and found a problem with it that I will discuss with the dealer that I originaly purchased this car from. To say the least Elhart will be my number one for service on this car. More
I went back to Elhart in HGolland even though I now live 130 miles away in Coldwater, MI. I tried to do this deal with the dealership in Battle Creek but they didn't want to return my emails. I had told the 130 miles away in Coldwater, MI. I tried to do this deal with the dealership in Battle Creek but they didn't want to return my emails. I had told them that I also had some financial difficulty in the past 5 years and a loan might have been difficult for me to get. Frankly I got the impression that they figured since they were the only game in town within 45 minutes, they didn't have to worry. They should have... The service, honesty and their treatment of me as a valued customer made all the difference. This was my 3rd car purchased from Elhart, I financed a 4th car for a family member there as well. I really like they way that I was treated. When I showed up to purchase my New Nissan Juke, I had just driven 2.5 hrs through snow, sleet and ice. The weather (as it is in MI this time of year) was lousy. My Juke was in the Showroom, right in front where I could see it when I walked in. Gimmicky? Maybe...but I loved it! It was super nice to look the vehicle through in the comfort of the showroom plus it was clean...it was PERFECT. I would say that Elhart Nissan doesn't do the "little" things....no because in today's business reality, there are NO LITTLE things..every single thing is important to the customer. When I am committing almost 28K to a car in this economy, they sure are to ME! The Sales Manager did a fantastic job...Listening. He listened to what I wanted to happen, what I thought I could do...and then he did his best to meet my wishes. In this case I'll be honest, Elhart Exceeded my expectations on this deal. I got exactly what I wanted. The Juke is a new model this year. They were not readily available at that time having JUST been introduced. I told them what I wanted, that I had some reservations financially and this is what they did: They said they would order me a Juke, exactly the way I wanted it, no more, no less. They met my payment expectations. I was told it would take 2-3 months and be ready late January or so. I put $200 down and told if ultimately I changed my mind, that would be my commitment. I readily agreed to that... This worked perfectly for me...it gave me time to think through this purchase, to make sure I could do it within the realm of my new budget constraints. And they delivered the Juke of my dreams. When I arrived on February 22nd to make the decision to go or not go through with the purchase, i was already sure through phone conversations that I was good to go. They worked the financial #'s to get me a better situation on my loan, from a $$ and length of loan perspective, it was a good situation. One last comment. The original Salesperson I dealt with in the late Fall left the Dealership. So I dealt with the Sales Manager throughout the process. I did NOT feel shortchanged at all as far as attention went. On Tuesday when I showed up, they introduced me to another salesperson and that transition worked out about as well as it could. I am really a satisfied customer. I have always been treated well at this dealership, for the length of time I've owned my vehicle. It has been a great experience for me... More
This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. Before we went out to look at and test drive cars I did extensive research on the internet and narrowed our search down. We had specific cr ever had. Before we went out to look at and test drive cars I did extensive research on the internet and narrowed our search down. We had specific criteria because my husband is disabled. When we arrived at Elhart, Doug Wiler came into the showroom and greeted us. He was very low key, not pushy at all and very attentive to us. We told him that we were interested in looking at a Hyundai Tucson. He understood my husbands limitations and was very helpful and kind and patient with us. He was also very knowledgeable about the cars. I decided that day to buy one of the Tucsons we looked at. Doug was very efficient and thorough in explaining things to me at each step. The negotiations were totally stress free, I did not find him to be pushy, deceptive or any other stereotype of car salesmen in any way. He explained each item to me as we went through the process. We agreed on a price that I felt was fair based on the research I had done. When I picked my car up Doug was again very thorough and took the time to explain everything to me again. He also inquired about my husband which I thought was very nice. He then took me to the service department. The car was beautifully detailed and ready to go. He again explained everything to me before I left with the car. The following week when the license plate came in he put it on the car for me. I think that Elhart is an exceptional dealership and I would recommend them to my friends and family. More
2 separate visits, my check engine light is still on and something is still wrong with the accelerator. They fixed many things that were not part of my reason for being there, and not the one reason I took something is still wrong with the accelerator.
