Dear Angela, Please accept my sincere apology on behalf myself and our dealership. I am very sorry to learn that your experience with me was less than adequate. I should have handled your sister’s situation differently and directed you someone with more authority in the service department sooner. I understand your frustration at having wanted to speak someone who had the authority to address the problem at hand immediately. I let you down in that regard and for that, I am also sorry. I take full responsibility for the situation and understand why my confusion as how to remedy the situation did not meet your expectations. Normally in these situations the issue is not as complex as what we were dealing with this morning and I can provide an adequate solution to a guest’s problem, however in this case, clearly those standards were insufficient. Please be assured that this type of situation will never happen again. I have put new guidelines in place as of today, which will ensure that any customer, who wants to speak with someone more senior in the service department for any reason, will be directed immediately to the person in the dealership that can assist them. It's very important to me that our customers have access to anyone within the dealership who can help them, all the way up to the Service Director. I regret that I provided you with bad service and a poor customer experience—it is the exact opposite of what I pride myself on. I value our customers and understand how important it is to offer exceptional service. I have already contacted Lars Backman to inform him of your concerns and he will be contacting you on Monday Afternoon to try to assist your sister with her issue.
