If we could give less we would. Our experience at Zeigler was by far and above the worst we encountered in our car buying experience. The car was priced online at a much lower price than they wanted out the was by far and above the worst we encountered in our car buying experience. The car was priced online at a much lower price than they wanted out the door. When given the option for a certified pre-owned package, we declined. That decision was criticized heavily to the point where a manager came to us and said that we were making the wrong choice and pushed further. We declined once again to no avail. The ad for the vehicle did not include any language that explained that a portion of the pro pack that costs $3000 was already part of the car, therefore jacking the process up further. We had already declined the certified pre-owned package and the pro pack as those were items we weren't interested in. Upon settling on a final, less than satisfactory number, we did some further research and learned that the vehicle was still under a manufacturer warranty. When we asked Jamal about this warranty he lied to us and said that it did not transfer between owners. Not only that, but when confronted with this information, the manager, explained that the warranty information was full of legal ease and hard to understand and that was the justification he gave for charging us even more for a certified package we didn't even want. He gave us an ultimatum and said we either take it certified or he charges us his fee for the pro pack which we ALREADY DECLINED. Ultimately, after 2 hours in the dealership, we walked away from a car we loved because we were treated with no respect, lied to, and misled. If you want to charge people a fee for "work" you have in the car, be up front about it. Include it in your ads. Why any honest business would blind side their customers with nearly double the sticker price to finance is unheard of. Every car buyer knows they will pay taxes, fees and title and registration costs. No potential buyer should expect to pay double the sticker price for a used car. We will not return to Zeigler Chevy or any dealership with the Zeigler name. They could have had life long customers and squandered that opportunity with shoddy business practices and dishonesty. Tony Horton good, dealership bad I buy cars every few years, so am used to the run around one gets at dealers, but Ziegler is the worst. They use the same tactics most dealers use, but amplified. Every car automatically has $2495 of dealer installed options. You can negotiate that cost a little, but can’t get rid of them entirely. The online price does not include these markups. Then you get the sales pitch for all kinds of interior and exterior protections from a company the dealer has stock in/partially owns. You say no to that, then they tell you financing will cost twice as much if you don’t choose extended warranty with that same company. This is five hours after you’ve entered the dealership. Dealer prep/doc fee is $895. More

I also was overcharged $500 from a deposit I put down on a credit card that I have been told I would get back but I have not. I was flat out lied to about the condition of the car. Half the car has been repainted and needs over $4000 in repairs. Which they agreed to send me $350 for but hasn't even done that. The car was shipped to me so I didn't get a chance to personal inspect it prior to purchasing. I have dealt with Abdul (used car manager) Darius ( some Manager title) and off course tried to talk to Ken (the general manager) none of witch has done any thing they have told me they would. Ken is the best he has not returned 5 phone calls in over 2 weeks and takes no responsibility for anything. I have purchased many cars in my life this is the worst dealership I have ever felt with!!!! More

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, BUYERS BEWARE Horrible dealer, full of cheats and con artists: Bought a vehicle 3 years ago from this dealer, upon which during the second week the alternator ga Horrible dealer, full of cheats and con artists: Bought a vehicle 3 years ago from this dealer, upon which during the second week the alternator gave out and had to be replaced. Ever since the alternator was replaced, my vehicle has been in and out of GM customer claims for electrical issues. I figured I would let this slide and give it a try again with my mother to buy another vehicle for her, since my salesman at the time was an exceptional person. Upon revisiting the dealer (1 year ago), they showed me a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox which they were guaranteeing as a reliable vehicle, that was ALSO being used as a demo vehicle for one of the salesmen. Clothes were all over the vehicle including dirty sweaty workout clothes, etc. NOT TO MENTION UPON FURTHER INSPECTION OF THE VEHICLE, THE FUEL TANK WAS BONDO'D TO THE FRAME OF THE VEHICLE, WHICH WAS NOT DISCLOSED IN LISTING NOR BY SALESMEN, ONLY A MINOR ACCIDENT. EVEN WITH ALL OF THIS HAPPENING, I FIGURED THIRD TIME WAS THE CHARM. NOPE. TO CURRENT DAY: Was reached out to by Nia, claiming there was a buy back program for the 2014 Chevy Malibu up to $9500. I advised her of the condition of the vehicle and mileage as well as my financial standing with the vehicle, not to mention I had a co-signer that was out of the country. She assured me that they could take care of my purchase of a new vehicle and FIND A WAY AROUND MY CO-SIGNER SIGNING A LEGAL DOCUMENT, WHICH IS ILLEGAL. In addition to telling her the condition of the vehicle's driveability, I told her that I didn't know if my car could make the distance since it had been having electrical issues prior to the call. She told me if it makes it into the dealership I will be leaving with a new car. Soon after, I receive a call from Stephanie, assuring almost the same as Nia, saying there would not be a problem with the purchase, and that the vehicle would sell almost as quickly as it was traded in, since parents and college students are looking for vehicles to start out with. Fast forward to current day. I drove to the dealership over 25 miles, 45 minutes in my vehicle, scared it would not make the journey. Leo greets me at the door and escorts me inside, sits me down, gets my phone number, name, and social, and proceeds to run my credit. He tells me there is nothing they can do, and the car is only worth $1500. Credit Denied. Leo then tells me if something improves, I can come back, OR, CLAIM A VOLUNTARY REPOSSESSION and not to worry about it because they will not get their money (what does that mean?) And what would this do to my credit? TANK IT. I asked to speak to the manager, whom I believe was Gabriel. Upon mentioning my story, he didn't care one ounce about my situation nor my concerns and was very dismissive. He tells me my financial issue with my vehicle being under water on the loan is "not their problem". He then tells me that sometimes the cars are better on paper than in person (basically calling my car a piece of xxxx) and that there was nothing he could do. Upon mentioning my previous concern about the Equinox, he asked what vehicle my mother drove and if she had credit to co-sign, that they would sign her and I. Of course at this point... I already have hit strike three on my tolerance of this dealer... rejected his wheeling and dealing with me and walked out. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT USING THIS DEALER FOR ANY OF YOUR SERVICE NOR PURCHASING NEEDS. THEY ARE ALL ONLY THERE TO PUSH THE CARS OUT OF INVENTORY, MAKE SALES AND COMMISSIONS, AND STICK YOU WITH AN UNRELIABLE VEHICLE. BUYER BEWARE, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. YOU WONT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. More
