I went to Zeigler Cadillac on 7/29/21 to purchase a vehicle, and was told that the vehicle was at the detail shop. It's now 7/31/21 and I still haven't heard from them. I drove an hour in heavy traffic vehicle, and was told that the vehicle was at the detail shop. It's now 7/31/21 and I still haven't heard from them. I drove an hour in heavy traffic for no reason! To make matters worse, they ran my credit which lowered my score! The salesman Vedo is not to be trusted. This is why I usually pay cash for vehicles, I don't trust car dealers. More

Definitely a group of shysters! Tried to tack on a over six thousand in unnecessary fees! I have never had such a terrible experience trying to buy a car. No haggle, in and out. They show you the screen and give a breakdown of everything you are paying for. I go to Zeigler of Lincolnwood with a pre approval from Capital One. I was looking to buy a car for my teenage daughter. I didn't want any extra frills just a basic safe car. I let the guy know I don't want their financing as I am comfortable with the offer from Capital One. He ask me to show him the offer and immediately says "OH I can't get your payment at that number" I say well I didn't ask you to try to get anything because I'm taking the offer from Capital One. He walks away and I see him huddled up outside with about four or five other guys. I just knew then that they were trying to get over on us. He comes back with a paper that he has scribbled on with some outrages numbers. On this first paper nothing is broken down. It's just his word. I say please let me see the offer that Capital One sent over as this is not what they told me. He says this is how we do it. I can't show you that. I immediately get on the phone with Capital One and they say "Ma'am it's NOT US"! They have you financing a 13k car for 19k. They have added on so many fees, that I could've just purchased a more expensive car if that is what I was looking to do. My husband and I are LIVID at this point. We start walking for the door and one by one the fees start to come off. At the end they absolutely REFUSED to take off a $2,000 reconditioning fee so we left. Some of these dealerships are so accustomed to people's back being pushed against the wall when it comes to purchasing a car. I wish I would! I will find a the car for my daughter elsewhere because I'm not paying made up fees. Check the fees out for yourself. The sales guy had the nerve to tell me I couldn't take a picture. Pay attention to everything because they are SHYSTERS!!!!! More
Similar experience as previous review. They told me I could have the car at the price listed on the internet. I came back the next day and they sat me down to give me the quote. They added $4,500 in warranties/insurance that I laughed at. Then they told me about the $1,895 “refurbishment” fee on used cars. Classic bait and switch. They said they had another buyer lined up that was going to pay the $1,895 if I walked. I said take it. The coup de gras was when they told me that if that buyer fell through, I could buy it at the internet price (x $1,895). How can this be a Cadillac dealer. A total joke!!! More
Illegal practices with illegal mandatory warranties and fees increasing the price by $4499 (before standard fees and taxes are even added). The salesman NICHOLAS MAGNUSSON, said he was going to have to "sp fees increasing the price by $4499 (before standard fees and taxes are even added). The salesman NICHOLAS MAGNUSSON, said he was going to have to "speak with his manager" to find out the final price for the vehicle. Upon returning, NICHOLAS MAGNUSSON said I MUST purchase an extended warranty for $2499 and a reconditioning fee of $2000, along with other fees and taxes even for a cash transaction. He claimed the reconditioning fee was for the conditioning necessary after they purchased the car from auction. The warranty and reconditioning fees are the ones that I explicitly argued against, as they seemed contrived and unnecessary. I made it aware it was a deal-breaker for the warranty and reconditioning fee be mandatory. I immediately went home to find out if it was even legal. I discovered it was not. I am reporting it so that this dealer is held accountable. I have also filed the issue with the Illinois Attorney General to ensure further accountability. Online reviews are also imminent. More

Karl took the time to explain to me what I needed to do to make a car purchase. So I made an appointment for a test drive on a CT6. I arrived at the dealership and Wayne Taylor greeted me with open arms. I test drove the CT6 and fell in love with it. Wayne sat down with me and told me what I needed to do to buy the car and how much down payment. I was a bit short with the down payment so I am trying to save up more. I will be back soon Wayne and Karl are the best!!!! More
