Over the years I have bought a lot of vehicles in other cities sometimes as far as 1000 miles away and one of the main things I look at when deciding on a vehicle is the dealership I’m buying it from as I’ cities sometimes as far as 1000 miles away and one of the main things I look at when deciding on a vehicle is the dealership I’m buying it from as I’m sure a lot of people do and you likely are looking at doing the same. I tend to default to only reading the negative reviews and in this case there seems to be a lot of them and they seemed to have the same theme so I was a little on edge expecting the worst but I must say this was one of the most pleasant Purchases I have ever made and that is saying something! I grew up in the West Suburbs of Chicago not now my family and I live in the Grand Rapids Michigan area and with this dealership being in Lincolnwood on the north side of Chicago I wanted to make sure it was not a wasted trip for a vehicle that was two years old. I have made trips like that before and sometimes even further to find out that when I got there it was not as it was represented and then it was a wasted trip. Thankfully that certainly was not the case with this vehicle or dealership at all. I was thoroughly impressed with the staff and the vehicle was exactly what I expected it to be an exactly as they presented it online. I was the last customer to leave at just a few minutes before 9 PM on a Friday night and I appreciate everybody being patient as we took care of all the paperwork. I would definitely purchase from this dealership again! The main staff members that I worked with for Michael the sales manager and Robert (Bob) Skinner but I was greeted with a smile by everybody else I encountered there and that is not the case at every dealership I have dealt with. It looks like they are under new management since this facility was built a year and a half ago so a lot of the negative reviews that I read Were before this dealership was built and before it changed management so I’m guessing the people that gave those reviews have given similar reviews of other dealerships before as that was not my experience in any way. Some of the reviews said that they pressured them to try and get extended warranty but it is a tricky thing because if they don’t offer it and somebody has a problem then they could give a negative review so I may were never presented with the option so while the sales manager did bring it up and present the different things available it certainly was no pushing sales tactic and I appreciated just getting to see what the options were. The last time I bought a vehicle I actually did buy the extended warranty and ended up being justified just 300 miles before the end of the warranty when it needed a bunch of work that I didn’t have to pay for but I’m usually one of the guys that turns those down And Emily to take a chance on the quality of the construction. Thanks for everything guys! My wife is very excited about her new SUV just in time for one of our brutal MIchigan winters! More
