Poor customer experience. If you go here be prepared for old school sleazy used car sales techniques with no follow-up or post event support. Be prepared to speak to very sweet but completely unhelpful gat old school sleazy used car sales techniques with no follow-up or post event support. Be prepared to speak to very sweet but completely unhelpful gatekeepers who say someone will call you back, but won't. Not that it should matter, but I'm a woman who negotiated and bought this on my own. I am confident in my business skills and was not intimidated. I would not recommend this dealership to any woman who isn't, or any buyer who is looking for a great experience. I came in for a test drive on a used vehicle I found on the website. The test drive went fine, I was provided excellent customer service and was encouraged to also explore a new vehicle within my budget I hadn't considered. Not being ready to make a purchase, I met the manager, was given a business card and told to call or text the sales rep directly if I needed anything. The next day, I decided I wanted to purchase the used vehicle. I texted the rep directly, as was offered. There was no reply. I emailed the rep and one of the "internet sales reps" who helped setup the initial test drive appointment. No response, all day. I called and was told he was off that day, but to come in and they would help me. I had already completed the credit application online and asked if there was anything else I could do ahead of time to expedite the purchase. "No, that's it - just come in." Another rep offered to help me when I went in. He was very sweet, but was the messenger who was about to be shot during his multiple trips back and forth to "the manager". First red flag, they wouldn't provide a number on my trade in without knowing what I owed, saying they needed to know in order to give me an "accurate estimate". I've played this game - I said, "not much, why don't you let me know what you can give me?" They pushed for a ballpark, to write it up as part of a deal on a worksheet. I should have walked then knowing how in demand used vehicles are and already having a quote from CarMax, but, of course I wanted the vehicle. Then came the first "deal" on paper. They tried to include $5,000 additional for "market adjustment" because of supply constraints. This is not a new vehicle that has limited availability, I simply said, "I'm not paying that" and they removed it. The first deal also included over $5k in additional BS coverage like paint chips/scratches, which wasn't explained well and was grazed over. Then there was a $2100+ charge for intake/reconditioning of the vehicle. So, now we're $12k over the internet price that brought me in. I also said "no" to the extra BS, and when I asked about why the cost of reconditioning the vehicle wasn't just included in the price online to cover their costs, they said "it's marketing - so we can offer a great price online". Then came the, "Okay, if we do x, y and z... will you buy this? Sign that you will" - without having any financing options, which I had asked for up front. I should have walked... again. In comes the big, scary manager who tries to push me into committing to a deal without having financing rates. "I have two appointments for this vehicle tomorrow." Okay, okay. He then patronizes me by explaining how financing works. I'm a professional businesswoman with excellent credit. Even if I wasn't, I didn't ask. Ultimately, the rates came back and I agreed. The ONLY reason this review is 2 stars and not 1, is because of Lisa Y. in the finance department. She treated me with respect, was knowledgeable, efficient, and ultimately left me with a good feeling after all the other BS. She should probably take her skills elsewhere! It gets better... two days after I bought the vehicle, the entire panoramic sunroof (a fixed panel) cracked the entire length of the glass. I immediately called and asked for my sales rep or a manager and was routed to the gatekeeper. She was was very sympathetic, "oh no!" and promised I'd get a call back. Nope. Two days later I called again, same result. I emailed the original test drive rep and the rep who sold me the car. Nothing. Emailed again another two days later, nothing. I had to wait to go in because I live a good distance from the location. When I finally went in and couldn't be ignored. The sales manager, Rick, (who was the one working the night I purchased and so nicely educated me on financing without my asking), came over. He scoffed at me when I told him I was interested in what they could do for me, and also that I wanted to know if anything had been done to service the panel while they had it. He never apologized about the lack of response, but instead dove right in to making excuses left and right and trying to again "educate" me on how glass in a vehicle can break. I've since reached out to the manufacturer directly, as the vehicle is under warranty, and I am now working with an authorized sales location for this brand. They first asked me, "Did you take it back to the dealership? What did they say? What options did they give you?" A big fat nothing and good luck sucker. More
