Contacted the dealership to make sure car was still available before driving over 3 hours to see the car. The account manager, Rosa Cerillos, had been responding and confirming car was available and t available before driving over 3 hours to see the car. The account manager, Rosa Cerillos, had been responding and confirming car was available and that I would be arriving between 9 & 10am to look at the vehicle. While in route I got a call, email and text from another sales, Jessica Ray, associate setting up an appointment for me at 10:15am. I texted back before 10am that I would be arriving in 20 minutes. We arrive and a different associate, Giuseppe, introduced himself and began working with us. He tried getting the keys but another sales associate was helping another family and they were taking it out to test drive. When we questioned our sales associate asking why another family was able to take the car out for a test drive when we were there for an appointment he admitted no one in that office talks to each other and he didn't know we had an appointment. General Manager, George, introduced himself and when asked the same question he said well it is first come first sales service. He said he would do his best to make it fair. We test drove the vehicle and told our associate we wanted to purchase the car. He came back with the paperwork and the car price was already $1500 more than the price on the web and confirmed price of the account manager. There were also 3 different packages, lowjack, zpak & another package which added $8000 to the overall price. I forwarded the associate the price I was given and we asked to have the extra packages removed. He told us he would try to remove the 2 but since the device was already installed we couldn't remove it so that was $1995 we had to keep. He finalized the price, we agreed and he was getting the account manager to agree to everything. After several minutes he came back and said since the other family came from out of town and they were going to be paying more they would not sell us the car. At this time the general manager tried coming back to offer us a car and said he would do his best to get us the best deal. Extremely dishonest from the beginning and shows they do not care about treating customers well, they only care about how much money they can make. More

The dealership is nice however the service was terrible. I needed my tires rotated and one tire patched. It took three hours. The wheel on the patched tire was left with significant oil residue. And the pa I needed my tires rotated and one tire patched. It took three hours. The wheel on the patched tire was left with significant oil residue. And the patched tire wasn’t patched. I drove home only to find it low on air the next day. I’ve since got it repaired by a different professional because I can’t trust the service at the dealer. More
Hi, I recently purchased a car from Ziegler in early March. First, I'd like to say this was my first time buying a car, so I was very naive and definitely shouldn't have made the purchase. And thank y March. First, I'd like to say this was my first time buying a car, so I was very naive and definitely shouldn't have made the purchase. And thank you to Angela, the title clerk, for being consistent with communication and getting my tags, registration, etc. to me asap. Carlos was the salesman I dealt with, and he wasn't the best; not only did he blatantly lie to me, but he also made me sit around all day for the car. I landed in Chicago sometime around 12 o'clock; the driver got to me 30 minutes after landing, and eventually we made our way to Ziegler. I'm sat down and sit for about 15–30 minutes, and then I'm introduced to Carlos, who shakes my hand and sits me back down for an additional hour and claims they are "readying" up the car. The car is brought out front, and I take a look at it. I like it and drive it, and it performs well. I get back to Ziegler and explain how I feel about the car, I negotiate, and we settle on a price. Carlos and the finance guy have me wait on them until 8-9 p.m., and I'm finally out the door. Throughout the whole process, I get to Zeigler sometime late in the afternoon and end up leaving at 9. My whole thing with this is that Carlos knew that I was coming that day and that I was there to buy the car, yet he still had me there for 9 hours. Keep in mind I hadn't touched food the entire day, and I'm irritated. Fyi: I paid zeigler 3,500 down on the car; they had 500 already and needed an additional 3,076, so I gave them 3,100, and they said they'd send me a check for 24 dollars, and still to this day I don't have my 24 dollars. Also, Carlos told me that I don't need to get my car inspected because it has already been done in the state of Chicago, so I don't need to get it done back in my state. He lied, and I had to get my car inspected here for 85 dollars. They also claim to have done some 170-point crap inspection on my car and also told me I have a 500-mile powertrain warranty, which is important for later. So, I leave Ziegler and am back en route to home (10 hours away)1. I messed up on my side; I didn't check the heat before I left, and what do you know? The heat doesn't work in the car. So much for a 170-point inspection, right? Originally, based on the time I was supposed to be back en route to home, I would've got home sometime midnight, but Ziegler took 8 hours + for a sale, so I have to stay the night out someplace. Keep in mind, this is Chicago, and it's freezing and I have no heat. If I had heat, maybe I could've gone the whole way, but I couldn't, so I stay the night out and get back on the road sometime 10am the following day. At this point, I have 700 miles left (6h 50m) and I get an alert on my dash: "coolant level low. replace or add coolant." I call my dad and ask what to do. I get to the nearest Auto Zone and buy coolant. I top it off and get back on the road. Eventually, this happens about three more times, where it pops up the alert, I top it off, and I'm backed out. The fourth time, the hose completely blows off, and I have to get the car towed. NOW Keep in mind I have the "powertrain warranty" from Ziegler for 500 miles; at this point I've driven only somewhere around 350+ miles, and I call Carlos about 7 times, and finally his clown self picks up and tells me there's nothing he can do at the moment. I explain to him that I've only driven between 300 and 400 miles and that the warranty is still in effect, and he says, "I don't know, my brother, some help, am I right? So I have to get my car towed, which was 324 dollars. I leave my car in Ohio for service at Brunswick Volkswagen for the AC and the coolant hose, which totals $408.74. I tell Carlos about the price of that and send him my receipt from Brunswick VW, to which he says to me, "Received and forwarded. I'll let you know when I know something!" ...I never hear back from Carlos. in summary: warranty is b.s, 170-point inspection they claim is BS, They haven't given me More

After going to endless dealerships and not being able to get approved and leave with a car, Carlos definitely changed that outcome. I can’t believe I was able to leave with a new car get approved and leave with a car, Carlos definitely changed that outcome. I can’t believe I was able to leave with a new car More
