Jeremy: I am sorry that you had this experience at our dealership. The page where you got pre-approval is a separate site from our company but is a platform we use to showcase our cars. On the cars.com page it does say that : "Not all customers will qualify. All decisions related to submission of consumer’s credit application, assignment of financing agreement, and available lenders are at sole discretion of the dealer. Cars.com is not an automobile dealer or a lender, and will not render a credit decision". If the car you looked at does not fit your budget we do offer many other options that might better fit your needs.
