I was in the market for a new Nissan Leaf for the last several weeks. Because of low inventory and high demand, I interacted with about 20 dealerships within 200 miles of my home. I was surprised by how much variability there was in honesty, straightforwardness, pressured sales tactics, and propensity to exploit the demand to soak as much money out of the consumer as possible. I purchased my Leaf with Younger Nissan because it and one other dealership (Tri-State in Winchester, VA) were, by far, the most straightforward and pleasurable to deal with on cost and low pressure tactics of all the dealers I had corresponded with.
