Outback purchased with Clayton I had every intention of buying a newer used Outback. Did my research and it was the vehicle I wanted. However, with the service I received from the I had every intention of buying a newer used Outback. Did my research and it was the vehicle I wanted. However, with the service I received from the minute I walked onto the lot from Clayton I decided on a brand new Outback. He spent the extra time with me to explain everything and really had the personal touches on my brand new purchase. I'm excited to have/own my very first brand new vehicle & also feel like I have a contact at the dealership that I trust. More
Young Subaru is Awesome! I have older people that I give rides to and they don't like an SUV, they say it is too high up for them to get into. But I like a higher vehicle. I I have older people that I give rides to and they don't like an SUV, they say it is too high up for them to get into. But I like a higher vehicle. I explained this to the manager, Tyson, and he pointed out that this particular Subaru could fit the spot. It wasn't too high, nor too low. I appreciated his listening to what my needs were and pointing out a solution. As I was sitting in the model on the showroom, a male customer walked by and I asked him about the car. He said he just bought one and he loves it. I am going to take a closer look at it now. Anyway, it's nice that my problem was listened to. More

I drove from Salt Lake City up to Young Subaru in Ogden because they had a color and model that I havent been able to find in any of the other dealerships in Salt Lake. As soon as I arrived I was rushed th because they had a color and model that I havent been able to find in any of the other dealerships in Salt Lake. As soon as I arrived I was rushed through the purchase of the car and felt pressured to close on the sale quickly. The price of the car was higher then other dealerships but again, I wanted this specific model and color. They were solid on the price and didnt budge at all. They said that these cars were in such high demand that they would be able to get that price for the car from someone else. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone and if you are buying a Subaru in Utah to go to ANY other dealership. More
I would not recommend Young Subaru in Ogden Utah. I recently purchased a 2014 WRX from them in October. The salesman was more interested in bragging about his glory days driving sports cars around the hills outside of Los Angeles rather than listening to my needs and wants in a car. Every time I tried to get a word in he would cut me off and jump into another story. Their finance guy did a terrible job of explaining the many sections of the contract and rushed through each signed document with little if any explanation as to what I was signing. Several weeks later I received a phone call from their finance department saying that I still owed them $950 from my trade in. Apparently they paid off my bank for my trade in and wrote the price of the loan for $950 dollars less than what it really should have been. I returned their call saying that no where in any of the paper work I signed reflected this amount, their explanation was simply, there must have been a "computer glitch" on their end and referred me to a small asterisk on the main contract stating that I will agree to pay any amount left over. This was never discussed during the closing of the sale. I would not refer anyone I know to them. I will definitely be taking my business back to Nate Wade Subaru in Salt Lake City. More
We bought a 09 Forester and it has been nothing but problems. The purchasing process for this car was about six hours and full of pressure gimmicks. They wouldn't tell me how many key fobs were coming problems. The purchasing process for this car was about six hours and full of pressure gimmicks. They wouldn't tell me how many key fobs were coming with the car, but wanted me to pay 300 for an extra insurance plan for the fobs. It took several times of saying no before the process would move on, and it turns out the car came with 3. Plenty enough for me. We bought the car in the night time, and it turns out, on inspecting the car in the morning, the front bumper was damaged. I drove it to the dealership and my salesman assured me he would order the parts and fix it free of charge. A week later, after hearing nothing from the salesman, I asked him about the parts, and he told me all damages incurred after leaving the lot were my responsibility. I was furious and wrote a letter to the manager, but he basically told me the same thing. In the 6 months I have owned the car it has been in the shop 4 times. The fourth time it was in there for over a month. It took their techs over two weeks to even have an idea of what was going on, then, when they couldn't figure it out, they gave me the car back with the check engine light on, and told me to drive it around and it would eventually turn off. I got 3 blocks from the dealership before it had a misfire and I about smacked the person behind me in my lane. To top it all off, they claimed the entire month it was in the shop I was going to get a rental car. In the fourth week I got a rental car, and on returning it after a weekend, they claim it didn't have a BB sized dent in the door that was currently on the car. So I got the fine pleasure of taking the rental to an auto body shop and getting a quote. It was 600 or so dollars from the body shop, but the quote that got submitted to my insurance, by the dealership, is magically 100 more than what the body shop quoted me. Who knows where the extra 100 dollars showed up. Then, when I finally picked up my car, no of the techs could really tell me what was going on. None of them knew really. This one tech came up to me with two clear water bottles full of liquid. One was clearly gas and one was clearly 2 cycle gas/oil mix. He claimed the 2 cycle came out of my car and proceeded to ask me what I had been doing to my car. This seemed like some sort of cheesy scam, like he was about to tell me my blinker fluid was low. At this point I was just enraged, and ended the conversation. I am sure his little "find" would of ended with him asking me for another service. After seeing that I was not terribly happy, he just told me to run the tank low and fill it up with the best gas possible. So what is the moral of the story? The dealership is not your friend, they are not there to help you. They are a business and are there to take you for every dime you have. They had a lemon of a car, I should of recognized this, and wanted to offload it on me and be done with it. Like the title says, this is one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made, and now I get to deal with these fine upstanding gentlemen for the lifetime of the loan. This car had warning signs and I failed to see them, several owners and really low miles, I should of known. I say this to you know, Subaru makes a fine vehicle, but buy yours and, take it for maintenance, from anyone but these folks. More

Working through Heston at Young Subaru in Ogden was a wonderful experience - and that is said from one who dreads car dealerships for their stereotyped pushy salesmen! Heston was very honest, fair, and wonderful experience - and that is said from one who dreads car dealerships for their stereotyped pushy salesmen! Heston was very honest, fair, and easy to work with. We traded in our vehicle and left with both the van we needed and the peace of mind that it was backed with a great warranty. I would return to this location again! More
