Unfortunately a horrible experience. Of course the process of buying the car was quick and easy. Once that process was over I could no longer get any of their time. Just two weeks after Of course the process of buying the car was quick and easy. Once that process was over I could no longer get any of their time. Just two weeks after I purchased the car, it would not unlock or start. I changed the key fob battery and checked the battery of the car, both of which were fine. It was an electrical issue. Finally after detaching the battery and reattaching it, it started again. Then my oil change light came on. They promised they did an inspection before selling me the car, yet the oil wasn't changed and an electrical issue? I then bring the car into the dealership for an oil change. After that was finished they told me that there was an oil leak and the rotors were bad. I told them I had just purchased the car two weeks before. Finally after calling repeatedly without a response they finally agreed to fix it for free, but they'd have to drive it to the dealership in Logan who they purchased the car from. I purchased it from young Hyundai in Ogden so it didn't make sense to me that they would have to drive it to another dealership to fix, but whatever. I just needed a working car. After returning me the car a few days later they said everything was fixed including a transmission leak they had also found. Great. Then another few weeks pass by and my car again won't recognize the key fob (I have two) and won't start. The battery is still completely fine. Again I called so many times...no response from anybody. Either the manager was out sick or she'd say she would give us a call back, but never would. I called Jude and Hunter who sold me the car...no call back. The service department...no call back. Finally brought my car back in even though I live in SLC after detaching the battery and reattaching it to get it to start. They tell me they'll try to diagnose the issue, but they didn't think that this time the dealership in Logan (since young in Ogden purchased it from Logan)would pay to fix it. Even though I had only had the car less than two months and they didn't fix it the last time. Again I purchased it from young Hyundai in Ogden so there's no reason to blame it on the dealership in Logan. I was promised a throurough inspection before purchasing the car. They took my car for another two days and said they couldn't find the issue. So....now I carry a xxxxxxx with me at all times not knowing when my car won't work again and I'll have to detach and reattach the battery... More
Just look at all the 1 star ratings this dealership gets that should be reason enough to get your car somewhere else. They give you a time when something will be fixed only to find out when that time passe that should be reason enough to get your car somewhere else. They give you a time when something will be fixed only to find out when that time passes that they haven't even touched it. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere besides Young Hyundai. In my opinion this is the worst dealership in Utah. Fixno More
Hyundai is utterly despicable and this dealership refuses to take any action on the customer's behalf. I received an extended warranty notice for chipping and peeling paint on my Hyundai Elantra. I immedi to take any action on the customer's behalf. I received an extended warranty notice for chipping and peeling paint on my Hyundai Elantra. I immediately booked an appointment with Young Hyundai. When I arrived, they informed me that my car was out of the warranty period even though I had just been notified about this issue. Instead of honoring the warranty or getting in contact with corporate Hyundai, they left me with just a phone number and "good luck". From corporate I have only gotten automated responses and messages to "contact my dealership". I am feeling hopeless and so frustrated. Do not buy a Hyundai and do not use Young dealerships. More
I had an appointment at 8:45 am for a 2 hour appointment. I usually wait in the dealership because then they work on it and get you out. But because of health issues I told them I would go home and wait. I called for updates twice and it wasn't done. So I told them... after 6 hours of having my car....I would be down and I would wait there. That way they would work on it and get it done. So I went down and it still was not ready. I still had to wait. So after them having my car for 6 hours and 45 minutes. I finally got to take my car. I even asked them if they could check the tires and adjust the air to the appropriate levels.... and that wasn't even done. I will drive to a different Hyundai dealership should a recall arise again. It was a software update on the rod sensor. More
Beware when you bring your vehicle to the Service Department for any overnight work. The Service Manager will allow his employees to drive your vehicle to dinner, various stops along the way and then park it at their personal residence to drive it right back to work the next morning! When confronted, the service manager will say it’s for a “diagnostic test” and they do it all the time! Record your mileage and check your Genesis locator app! Unprofessional manager to say the least! More

He took us to several dealerships so we saw many cars, when we found the one we ended up buying, we all knew immediately we had found the right car. We knew it and he knew it. Finance manager was great. Car did have a dashboard issue - so we will see how they help on that. Over all - a very positive experience! More

The salesman Curtis told me it would be no problem to have them fix that ASAP and to contact him the next Thursday if the service department had not contacted me. When I did, he wouldn't even respond. I should have known as he told me to sign his salesman checklist before I even was presented the car (features Hyundai requires the staff show you before you take the car). Curtis wanted to hurry and get to lunch. I signed, trusting him to actually show me. Nope. He dragged out the process, badgered me to give him the names of people I know so he can cold call them, and then was a total jerk to me when the bank needed additional documentation because someone fatfingered my social checking my credit (probably the dealership). Now it is 27 days later. I have made one trip to the dealership for their contractual replacement and calibration, but came up empty handed after the windshield to be installed was damaged (I have my doubts this is true). They had my car for about four hours before getting around to calling me, refused to attach a front license plate, claiming Utah doesn't require it and therefore they don't need to do it (they do, by the way). They then told me the car was pulled right up front but left it out in their lot parked six inches from another car. I had to walk up and down the rows to find it. They've made this such a miserable car buying experience that I will never deal with Young again. Almost a month with a very unsafe and about to cave in windshield on a certified car. I suspect I will have to take legal action before they fulfill their portion of the sales contract. Just dishonesty or the worst communication any company has ever performed. More
