When we called, very friendly customer service personnel answered phone promptly. Was able to get appointment for day and time that worked for us. When we arrived we was greeted promptly and only waited a answered phone promptly. Was able to get appointment for day and time that worked for us. When we stop at service desk to pay nice friendly customer service personnel gave us a rose for coming to York. More
I had an appointment set for 8/9/22. Dropped car off about 11am, got a call that they did not get to get to the car that day. That was fine, Wed I called after 5 when I hadn’t heard from them (no answer) someone took a message & said the shop would call me back. Wed no call back, so Thur afternoon I called again, no answer. I waited, and called again no answer. Friday morning I called, again no answer. So I said if I didn’t get an answer by 3pm or if no one called I was going up there. So I called back after 3 and finally got someone to answer & after asking another person if my car was ready the gentleman came back to the phone & said it was ready. I was just have some airbag recalls fixed. So it took 4 days to do this & no communication outside of Tuesday evening. I picked the car up Friday evening right before the shop closed. Someone from York called me the following week I think Wednesday & told me that my car was ready. I asked if he was sure it was my car? He said why have you picked it up already? I told him I did Fri before the shop closed. He apologized for calling me & hung up. Next time I have to have any work done I will drive to Greenwood or up north. This was totally unprofessional. I can understand if they were short handed or over booked had they kept the lines of communication open. I never received an apology, an offer for a loaner car, a free oil change for the inconvenience (NOTHING) and that’s fine, but next time I’ll drive the extra 20 plus mins in hopes of a better experience.
