I've been going to yonkers kia for about 10yr for service on my cars and they just keep on getting better though the year's,,, the customer service is great and the mechanics services is great,,, and a car w on my cars and they just keep on getting better though the year's,,, the customer service is great and the mechanics services is great,,, and a car wash when they are done, what more can you ask for. Arrived to drop off my vehicle for a safety recall at 8 am, wasn't sure if they had the part and that I would need to come back if that was the case (probably something that should have been told to me the day before coming all the way up to Yonkers from Manhattan-not a long drive but hard to get to via public transit). Was told when I made the appointment that I would need to drop the car off for the day and that acquiring a loaner would be a first come, first serve process-which wasn't such a biggie. However, when I asked about this was told that there was a waiting list and that I would be number 12 on the list (conflicting). The kicker though was when I called at about 4 pm to see if my vehicle was done because I had not heard from anyone and while on the phone with the receptionist overheard the intake person say that the vehicle had been done for hours and that they didn't call me because I told them that I would pick up after work. I was coming from work in Manhattan via public transit, would have been nice to have been told that the car was ready early on so that I would not have to navigate Metro North during rush hour. Made it there just in time before closing, to watch 3 really nice people search for my paper work, not find it and then not be able to find my car because of that. My car was finally delivered with the seating adjustments completely changed as if someone had been driving my car while in the care of the service department (suspicious). Not sure if I will continue using the department in the future, not making this decision because of yesterday but because of my past experiences over the last 5 years with regards to safety recall repairs. I did not work with Efrain Barcos; he has always been super pleasant and attentive-I worked with someone new on 3/10/2021. More
