I purchased my vehicle Dec. 4 2019. A month ago I found out my car was never registered and the tags are still connected to the car I traded in AFTER by boyfriend was pulled over by 4 cop cars/ 5 policemen out my car was never registered and the tags are still connected to the car I traded in AFTER by boyfriend was pulled over by 4 cop cars/ 5 policemen. They thought the car was stolen. Luckily I alway keep documents to prove it’s not. Yonkers Kia NEVER registered my car and it’s a year later. Talked to someone from yonkers Kia and they tried to blame it on covid. My temporary registration was expired before lockdowns and everything got worse. Just because of this pandemic I can never register my car that i got before the pandemic??? I still make monthly payment but I am unable to drive my car, had to take off the plates since they’re still registered to my old hyundai. Save yourself the trouble I’ve been regretting getting this car for some time now. Employees are fake Customer Service is not helpful and rude The title department is a joke and can barely read (asked for a copy of title stating s2s transfer went to wrong place, what do they do? send the s2s transfer right back to the wrong place didn’t even get the copy sent to me and I never requested for the s2s to be sent out a second time I was just simply asking for the copy for myself.) There’s so much more. There’s a lot of negligence. I’m still waiting on the copy of my title and for it to be sent to the right address. Did I mention the sent a blank file to my email and said it was a copy of my title. Someone obviously didn’t double check or ALL KIA EMPLOYEES and I are playing some “funny” game that i’m not in on. Update: During the process the manager suggested I rent a car since i couldn’t drive mine and he would Fully reimburse me. So I did (only for a week b/c it was offered late , but I couldn’t drive my car for a month or two) , and when I asked to be reimbursed he said if i agreed to change my review. If my car was registered in the first place this whole review in entirety would not exist. The dmv “manager” is far from qualified. Customer service must not exist here or it just wasn’t given to me. I want to be let out of my lease agreement Without liability. Only then will the situation be rectified. I still would not recommend More
