When this vehicle was initially brought in to our service department it had zero maintenance history at our dealership. The vehicle is a 2011 Nissan Juke that has 112k miles on it and was purchased at a dealership in Texas. Unfortunately, we had no history of what services had been done prior to the vehicle being brought into Yark Nissan, including regularly scheduled maintenance that may or may not have been done. Since the first initial visit, this vehicle has been at our dealership 4 times for 4 different repairs. The first visit was for a shorted subwoofer that we disconnected per the customer's request. The second time was for an engine replacement which was covered under her service contract. The third time was for an A/C compressor that was covered under warranty. The Final time was for a grinding noise that was caused by the brakes being completely worn out and were virtually metal rubbing against metal and should have been replaced before they were worn to that degree. When the vehicle was in for brakes the transmission operated normally and there was no check engine light on when the brakes were completed and tested. With the 2011 generation Juke, if the transmission is bad or going bad it will set off a check engine light with the code P0868 Secondary Pressure Solenoid. The vehicle did not have a check engine light on at time of service. At this point the vehicle is back in Texas and we have no way of knowing why the transmission failed and no history on maintenance of the transmission and the rest of the vehicle other than the repairs we performed at our dealership. We simply cannot guarantee parts or service on the transmission as no work was ever performed on the transmission while at Yark Nissan.

Thank you so much for your response. When the engine was replaced we asked why the engine was making such a loud noise. On 4 occasion we asked why was the engine so loud. Each time we were told it was just the turbo. This was from Feb 2020 to June 2020. If the engine noise concern would have truly been looked at and the advisor would have truly listened to the customer, they would have discovered the vehicle was not shifting from 2rd to 3rd. The engine noise was not due to any work Yark Nissan did on the car. My complaint has always been, when I told the advisor on 4 occasions about my concern about the loud engine noise and each time told it was the turbo. If he, Sam, would have had the noise investigate since there was no no check engine light on by a tech, he would have found the transmission issue. It is very disappointing the only way I can get Yark Service to respond is to put a complaint out on the internet. I see Yark Nissan’s true colors.
