What a pleasant shopping experience for this old couple from Arkansas! We were willing to drive to Ohio to buy a car from this dealer because the deal was awesome, and the people were amazing! I'm wildly disappointed in the service that I received at this location. My car had less than 100,000 miles but sounded like my car was revving at 2RPMS. Over the phone, the service department suggested a po this location. My car had less than 100,000 miles but sounded like my car was revving at 2RPMS. Over the phone, the service department suggested a possible transmission concern, based on the revving I mentioned. I followed through and made an appointment with the service department. I paid 160 and was thankfully told "nothing was wrong". I was relieved. The following week I took my car to a local Lube Mart for a routine oil change (I purchased a Groupon). They asked if I wanted my transmission fluid flushed, as it was "probably due". I explained to the employees at Lube Mart that I took my car into Yark a week prior for a transmission concern, and this probably wasn't necessary. Lo and behold, the cap to the transmission fluid was so dry and crusted that it took Lube Mart 20 minutes, tools, and oil to remove the cap to access my transmission fluid. For this reason, I agreed to have this oil flushed and replenished. They personally showed me the discoloration of this fluid (black, opaque). Lube Mart also reported this fluid was also low. YARK DID NOT EVEN CHECK/ASK ABOUT TRANSMISSION FLUID. I called Yark to discuss this with them. They were incredibly rude saying this "wasn't a part of the process", even though, I clearly stated the appointment was for a transmission concern. I requested a call back from management, left two messages, and neither was returned. In conclusion, I paid Yark 160 for nothing, other than for them to "test drive my car" and potentially run diagnostics (who knows if they did). I paid Lube Mart 200 for an oil change and transmission fluid. I figured I'd send a warning to the public. It is unfortunate to know their management allows this to happen AND does not value customers enough to at least make a simple call back. I waited 3 weeks for a returned call, but now it's time to spread my wealth of knowledge about my experience of being taken advantage of. I'm looking forward to their public response in hoping to defend these inexcusable actions. It's a solid 0 rating for me for taking my money, my time, and not being honest about the service you provided. Will not return :) More
