We're sorry for your inconvenience while traveling through Ohio. After receiving your vehicle from the tow company on a Friday, unfortunately one of our busiest days, our technician diagnosed and tested your vehicle to find that it did need the fuel pump repair. Our technician also found that according to the Technical Service Bulletin provided by Ford Motor Company that if a fuel tank has any contamination, after being removed and visually inspected for rust and other metallic contaminations, that it too would need to be replaced, a part that typically takes 1 -2 days for delivery, therefore, we did quote both parts so that both could be ordered and received at the same time to help lessen the time you'd have to spend in Ohio and give you an honest look at the cost of both repairs. We apologize for any miscommunications that may have occurred and are thankful that you made it home safely.
