I took my car in for Warranty service on the ac in Nov. 2012. It was fixed temporarily and worked that day but come May when I first needed it, it did not work. I was told that needed a valve and it wasn 2012. It was fixed temporarily and worked that day but come May when I first needed it, it did not work. I was told that needed a valve and it wasn't covered now (900 miles over warranty). In July no ac again. Tom had service dig into it and found the initial problem from Nov and fixed it under warranty. Thank you Tom. More
I have been doing business with Tom Muirhead at Kistler Ford for at least 10 years. I have always found him to be friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely honest. I was very happy with the service I received at this service department. I needed a basic oil change and fluid top off. I was greeted promptly by the service advisor, Tom Muirhead, and also by the techn service department. I needed a basic oil change and fluid top off. I expected to have to go home and come back later to get the car but Tom said it would only be a few minutes and offered to have me wait in the lounge. I didn't even finish reading the paper and my car was back washed and ready to go! The technician was very polite and friendly which you don't seem to find as often these days. Tom explained what was done and the general condition of the various serviceable items on the car, I was very pleased how prompt the team was, I will return to this dealer for future service needs More

Start to finish the best service visit I have ever experienced! The staff members were all very knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. Over the years I have become accustomed to becoming frustrated when experienced! The staff members were all very knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. This was my 1st visit to Kistler Ford and should anything else happen to one of my vehicles, it will not be my last! The quality of the work performed was amazing. This was hands down the most friendly staff I have ever come across! When I received my vehicle back today it was cleaner than when it was when I bought it brand new! I mentioned when I was picking my vehicle up that I would love to extend a compliment to them for their work and was referred to this site. Many people have no problem taking the time to complain about services but few people take any time to recognize superior work and customer service. I truly hope that this makes its way back to the employees at Kistler Ford. I really want them to understand that their efforts did not go without notice! I strongly recommend this dealer to anyone looking for fantastic work, a great deal, and just the best customer service around! More

Tom was very good at explaining what needed to be done to fix my car. I had recently taken my car to another shop for service on the air-conditioning. That shop performed some kind of diagnostic analysis, fix my car. I had recently taken my car to another shop for service on the air-conditioning. That shop performed some kind of diagnostic analysis, and suggested I also needed brake lines replaced, but said nothing about fixing other things I knew were due for repair. The other shop made me afraid the brakes might fail if I didn't get them fixed right away. Tome explained that while the lines would eventually need to be replaced, I would get a warning light before it happened and should immediately bring it in for service. I understand cars need servicing and don't exactly mind paying close to $1000 for the various systems that needed to be flushed and maintained, but this would have been really hard to manage if I had just spent $400 to get the brake lines fixed. The other shop did not mention anything about repairs which will prevent serious engine problems if left uncorrected. Thanks Tom for being a knowledgeable friend. More
