I should have known from day one. I stopped in for an estimate to have our vehicle repaired after someone hit me. Upon entering the office, I was reluctantly met (you would have thought I was bothering estimate to have our vehicle repaired after someone hit me. Upon entering the office, I was reluctantly met (you would have thought I was bothering him), by a man sitting behind a counter reclining back in a chair with his hands behind his head. He literally called out to a young lady (Sunday Crandall = very nice and professional), to write up an estimate. When I brought our Ford Escape in for the actual repair, I was once again greeted by Jerry in the "EXACT" same manner as our previous encounter and once again he "yelled" to Ms. Crandall. We were promised to have our vehicle returned in two-three days. We even accommodated their schedule by a week to expedite the return of our vehicle. It has now been a week and we are still waiting, for our vehicle. Jerry has "NEVER" once called to say things are delayed or the status of our vehicle. We have to call him. I am paying for a rental out of pocket and he knows this. We were going to purchase/lease two vehicles within the next three months, from Kistler. I will "NOT" be taking my business to Kistler Ford and I will be warning others of the POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE we have received. This former "Kistler Whistler," will be whistling a new tune. More
I drive for my job and have put many miles on my car. When I've had to leave a message they call me right back with instructions on what I should. I've had to bring my car in for repairs and they help me get a rental and back out the door right away. For minor stuff once again the same friendly, quick and efficient service. Both Tom and Bill are very helpful, don't talk down to me (I'm female), explain things so I can understand and friendly. When I get my car back it is fixed, cleaned and ready to go. They are Five Star Guys and I get Five Star service! More
I have bought my last 2 cars at Kistler Ford. While I have loved my cars I must admit that Tom Muirhead is the reason I keep coming back for service. He is friendly, timely and knowledgeable. I left my car on a Wednesday and picked it up on a Tuesday of the following week. I was told that they would be able to have the new mirror installed during that time if I could leave the car. I showed up to pick it up almost a week later as planned (on Tuesday after work) and it hadn't been touched. No phone call, no new mirror, nothing..... Absolutely horrible first impression and I won't be going back. Now my wife has to drive without a mirror for yet another week. With that said, Craig in parts was very good to work with. Very responsive and helpful. Communications from the body shop = terrible, however. More
Tom Muirhead is always wonderful to work with. Friendly, efficient, caring. He seems more like a close friend than someone I simply bring my car to. We bought our Chrysler van in December the first time I brought it in for an oil change I was shuffled from one service guy ( Bill) who was rude to another( Nick) who talked bad about Bill. I've worked retail and both of these things are bad for business. So I thought maybe it was just a bad day since I've used your parts department and those guys are great never a problem and ALWAYS helpful. They did the oil change but did not wash the van. The second time I brought the van in I believe it was Nick the took care of me and everything went okay, However the third oil change was as worst than the first they rotated the tires and it was written up that the right front tire had a slow leak ( Bill). I don't think anyone even looked at the tire ohter than changing it because two days later we took it to Tireman and they pulled a nail out of it and plugged it. Again the van did not get washed this timedue to the door on the washer be broke. If it wasn't for the engine warranty I'm not sure I'd be back for anything other than the parts department those guys are great and deserve a raise ALWAYS very helpful and friendly. More
The reason why I was buying a used Ford Edge from a private owner and called Kissler Ford and talked with a Mr. Tom Muirhead whom was able to schedule in the Ford Edge for a Oil Change and did a vehicl private owner and called Kissler Ford and talked with a Mr. Tom Muirhead whom was able to schedule in the Ford Edge for a Oil Change and did a vehicle inspection and sent me a report. I called to find the price for and time available for needed oil service for the giant E-350 van I drive for work, and Tom said $39.95 and "Come right in!" I asked how long it would take, and he said 'Fo needed oil service for the giant E-350 van I drive for work, and Tom said $39.95 and "Come right in!" I asked how long it would take, and he said 'Forty-five minutes to an hour." Sounded good to me. I came right in and Tom was friendly and got my van in for service right away. He answered all my questions and went over the results of their inspections afterward. I'm only downgrading to 'good' because it actually took 1 1/2 hours, and my co-worker texted me to find out what was taking so long. More
