I had sent a request to see a particular vehicle. My salesperson Kevin did not tell me the van was no longer there until I got there. I ended up purchasing a different van anyways. I’m very satisfied with the vehicle however I will never purchase another vehicle from Yark automotive on Central Ave. I asked for a book for my van since there wasn’t one in the car. I was told I could purchase one online. The floor mat on the driver side in the back is missing. I was told that’s all the van came with. The finance guy (I believe last name was Perez) was so pushy about purchasing the extended warranty that I almost walked away from the deal twice. The best part was when I came back on 8/17/20 for them to repair a rip in the seat and buff out some scratches. We were sitting in the waiting room. My mother was with me since she had a doctor’s appt. she was watching TV when the salesman came in and asked her 3 times if she was watching the TV. She said yes 3 times. The. A short time later the TV channel changed. I got up and tried to change it back. The. The manager comes out to see why I was changing the channels. Evidently we, the customers, were interfering with their afternoon basketball watching. Then he acted like we were the ones in the wrong because we were upset. Very unprofessional. Won’t be back but I really do t think they care. More

I realize that we’re in the middle of the COVID-19 virus, which is why I’m writing this message. I really believe that your cleaning team can do A LOT better job of cleaning and servicing your used inventory which is why I’m writing this message. I really believe that your cleaning team can do A LOT better job of cleaning and servicing your used inventory! I bought a used 2016 suburban LTZ which was very dirty inside! To this day, I haven’t had time to really go through it completely, but it’s got food and pudding and other debris from the previous owner throughout the interior! little things really do matter when you have a (2) year old. Not all young kids know not to put their hands in their mouth. They see things like old chips or candy under the seat and it could be eaten depending on the kid! If you service and clean your vehicles properly, you could avoid messages like this! Also, by following a simple checklist, you’d also know that a $40,000 suburban doesn’t have a jack to change a flat tire with, or that the DVD player doesn’t work! I think during this virus it’s better to limit the amount of visits your customers have to make to your dealerships! It’s very dangerous for your staff and your customers. My overall experience was okay, but you guys have a lot of room for improvement! I’d shop with you again but will never accept the type of service I received on my very first purchase! I REALLY DO NEED AND WOULD LIKE A JACK FOR MY TRUCK PURCHASED LAST WEEK! I paid a premium price for your merchandise and hope that this message doesn’t go unnoticed? Respectfully Submitted More
