The sales staff was very friendly. However, there were too many hidden costs. Charged too much for paint sealant for example. I had questions later . Overall the experience was good. It was a relaxed selling environment and everyone was super friendly. The finance person is where this dealership falls short. Our 3rd Yark Grand Cherokee purchase with Tom Duff since 2002. We were on a time limit, we stumbled on the first one he found unknowingly thinking there were more out there. Found us a North Edition which was Exactly what we were looking for. The Financing? Another story. The time it took to set up was ridiculous primarily because the explanation in trying to sell us additional coverage was not exactly clear initially. Far more than 25 words or less. We went in with no financing in mind. 3 hours later? And then a return the next day to straighten out a mistake on Dan’s part delayed us from leaving town to return home to WI. I would not call it a success in selling additional coverage if it took over an hour to even figure out that that was what he was trying to do. We would have purchased the basic most likely if it was clearly laid out what it was, even possibly gone up another notch but at that point we just wanted out of there. Take away the/his markers and line drawing.. and the “tells me nothing” chart... and instruct him on how it actually benefits the customer. Honestly, We walked out of there feeling like that was time I’ll never get back. Not good. When you want to feel excited about your purchase and where you purchased it from, not good, for what should have been a quick if not pain free experience. Super Nice guy, but.. We also paid to have the Jeep TST’d. It came back with a deep scratch on the drivers side window frame. Was told it’s covered but will have to do it at a dealer in WI. Not happy about that. I also received no paperwork on the TST work. More
I purchased a 2020 Jeep in January. My car has 3,600 miles on it and found a lever from the rear vent on the floor. I called service, brought my car in and was informed that they would need to order thi miles on it and found a lever from the rear vent on the floor. I called service, brought my car in and was informed that they would need to order this rear unit and would call when it came in. After 5 days I received a call that it had arrived. I scheduled an appointment and was told a window of 3 hours to fix would be needed. The job took 1 1/2 hours and service took extra precaution to protect against Covid exposure.
