The initial process was great. The purchase was made through CarGuru. Not only did I do my diligence to research the type of vehicle I wanted but when I found it, I felt I was purc The purchase was made through CarGuru. Not only did I do my diligence to research the type of vehicle I wanted but when I found it, I felt I was purchasing from a highly rated "used" car dealer. A bit of oddity occurred during the final purchase process with some back and forth on fees when changing from a finance sale to a cash sale. I am out of state, so vehicle was shipped to me. After driving to work 10 miles and back 10 miles the check engine light came on. I notified them immediately. We all know you can reset codes with a handheld machine. The check engine light typically doesn't come back on as soon as you start up vehicle but will come back on after driven so many miles. Seems ironic. 1. check engine light 2. passenger air back needs service. 3 tire pressure issue. We spoke with my salesperson and assured me that they would pay for the tire pressure sensor replacement as well as what he felt was either a recall or airbag sensor. This was discussed over the phone. I told him I would be taking it into to my mechanic to have the car looked over. Which on their website they highly recommend. I had the issues with vehicle corrected. We emailed the invoice over to my sales rep. A call was made to salesperson to confirm he received the email. called him. He clearly was not wanting to speak about it but told me it was forwarded to management. After not getting any feedback an initial review was written. Immediately a call was received by a representative. The representative's response was that I knew what I was getting into by buying a used vehicle. He also stated that the tire pressure was visible in the photos of the vehicle. If I zoomed in closely. The promises by the sales rep were discarded by the individual. After stating that they would not pay what was promised but would pay a small portion of the cost it was asked several times to go in an update the original review to a 5 star. I don't even believe the person that called me is management. More
I recently bought a Buick Enclave here. My initial reaction was that I loved the sales person I was working with and trusted his knowledge and honesty. I do not live in the state and had to have the car transported, which was a nightmare, not at Yalcars fault. However, once my car arrived to me there were many issues!!!! First, the cover for the hub cap was missing. They did order a new one to be delivered to my house and it’s not even close to the right piece. The car itself was not as described. Within 24 hours and driving about 20 miles, the check engine light came on, tire pressure monitoring light, and airbag light. After many calls, I finally spoke to my salesman, Mark, who assured me they would pay for any repairs. $750 and several days later, my car is repaired and nobody will contact (email or phone) me back. Very disappointed with the follow through of spoken agreements. UPDATE: the sales manager, Russ, has called me several times. Though he is very friendly, he first offered $250 for HALf of the repair of the tire pressure monitoring system repair. He states he will not address the other issues as it is “part of buying a used car”. He then calls me back the next day offering $100. I would not have had the repairs completed right before the holidays if it was not at the instruction of my sales man and the assurance of Yalcars paying for the repairs. Now nobody will answer and supposedly Melissa ( HR) is suppose to be communicating. More
