Well worth the drive!!!!! I wanted a sporty all wheel drive vehicle and since I already owned a Subaru, passed down from my mom, I knew the quality and dependability of the bra I wanted a sporty all wheel drive vehicle and since I already owned a Subaru, passed down from my mom, I knew the quality and dependability of the brand, so naturally I wanted a WRX STI!! Well I was told by another dealer they had one, made the drive and lo and behold it was no longer available. I went home discouraged but my son literally stayed up all night online and calling every Subaru dealership in a 3 state area looking for exactly what I wanted, an STI with all the bells and whistles! I got all kinds of return calls but Deryk Sumner went above and beyond. He called us before the dealer even opened and although they didn't have one on the lot, there was a delivery truck there and he made the effort and found my car still wrapped on the truck!! I told him I'd be there before noon and my son and I drove my trade ins and headed to TN. Now, he had no way to know if I would show or flake out, after all it was a top of the line car and package that I wanted, but when we got there he was ready for us. He was young and I admit to being suprised at his knowledge. But flat out it was his enthusiasm and customer service that made it worth every bit of the drive. I test drove my car with onky 3 miles on it! I wasn't given the run around, I wasn't treated like an idiot or brushed off because I was a woman, nor talked down to because I wasnt exactly dressed for success that morning. Deryk was enthusiastic, personable, and knowledgeable. He even thanked me for my service once he found out I was a veteran. I was actually happy to pay cash and drive home in the exact car I wanted! The Manager also made a point to meet me and thank me for my purchase. All in all this was the best group of people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Even the follow up is exceptional! I got a tin of cookies lol along with a thank you note! More

The employees at this dealership, Darci Lusher and Daniel Wilson, were patient, understood my circumstances and never put any pressure on me to buy. They tolerated my calls for months and not one time put any sales pressure on me. I'm sure I drove them crazy with my shopping and not being able to decide on a brand. I've owned many brands but only one other Subaru, but it was a fantastic vehicle. Safety, good looks (the vehicle, not me), reliability, great performance, and low depreciation were the deciding factors to stay with Subaru. I have every intention of making this dealership my place of purchase when I am in the vehicle market again. It's a two hour drive one way but is totally worth it. Many vehicles have been purchased by me, and I've been in my share of dealerships more than I can count, but I can say with complete confidence Wyatt Johnson Subaru is at the top of the list. More

Jeannie was the the only one who inspired my confidence. It was worth driving 400+ miles to purchase a vehicle from her. It was a great experience, including processing the paperwork. I have never felt more unwelcome or disrespected as a customer than I did at Wyatt Johnson Hyundai / Suba If I could give less than one star, I would. After attempting to be a REPEAT customer and buy my second Subaru WRX STI from Wyatt Johnson Subaru, their sales manager Brian Burkeen suggested that I take my business elsewhere because a price couldn't be negotiated between a salesman and I. This was after I refused their initial offer of almost 6k over MSRP for a vehicle with no extra features to warrant the mark up. Maybe it's just my time in the military that has contributed to my negotiation skills and belief in fairness between all parties, but there are two things that I won't allow to happen. The first, is be taken advantage of. The second, is let my service to my country be formed in a negative light. Brian Burkeen did both of these things with the comments that he made to me before telling me to take my business to another dealership (which I had already done). Unfortunately, this does not even begin to scratch the service of my problems with Wyatt Johnson Subaru / Hyundai, however, I simply do not have the time to go into detail about all of them. I ended up buying the same vehicle with additional features (for significantly less money) and having it shipped from a Subaru dealership 2 states away rather than do business with Wyatt Johnson Subaru. I will NEVER set foot on their lot again and I warn each and every new Soldier that comes to my unit to not do business with them because of their complete lack of respect. I don't expect special treatment as a service member, but I do expect to be treated as a human being and a valued customer without having my military service thrown back in my face. Not only was I shown zero respect or value as a customer, but I was repeatedly lied to by multiple people at Wyatt Johnson Subaru. Turns out that when you show them hard facts about sales and numbers, they don't like it very much. But not even that will stop them from continuing to lie to their customers. I can only imagine how many other people they have attempted to taken advantage of. It seems to me as though the management at this dealership has a lot to learn in terms of customer service and taking a moment to think before they speak.
