My experience at World Subaru with Faith Fontaine (Internet Associate), Girsh Berman (Sales Associate) and Michael D'aiello (Sales Manager) was a triple sucess. Faith was instrumental in getting (Internet Associate), Girsh Berman (Sales Associate) and Michael D'aiello (Sales Manager) was a triple sucess. Faith was instrumental in getting my foot in the door. She convinced me that I needed an appointment to come in and speak with a representative, even though this was the furthest dealership from me. Girsh greeted me at the door with the greatest non-pushy, yet friendly style. He was patient, thorough and efficient at obtaining accurate answers to all of my questions. He was professional, yet still cordial. Lastly, Mike cinched the deal with the bottom line price. His negotiation process was pleasant and painless. I will definitely come back to "World Subaru" for another new car, but I think this Subaru will outlive me. More
I searched on line for my new Subaru, World Subaru was not the closest dealer to me, but Reggie was able to answer my questions and find my car (in their inventory) while we were on line. The other dealer BTW, finally got back to me after i was home with my new car. Lester my salesperson - was knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. He had the car upfront and ready for us to guest drive. He had a no pressure attitude and kept us "in the know" every step of the way. Mike my business manager, help me with my loan, and treated me like a person - not like "next - sit here- sign here - get out". No, Mike took his time to explain all the paper work and was excellent to work with. My Cross-Trek was ready, clean and had a full tank of gas. Lester showed me all the buttons and explained the car to me. He even linked my phone to the Blue Tooth. WOW, i bought a car and had a great experience. Thank You. McWeeney, while looking to purchase a used car. The best part of the experience was there was no haggling. Dennis listened to my needs, and respected my budget. He did his best to put me in a car that fit my budget, style and purpose for the vehicle. The staff went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. I've been told my original review is too harsh so I have amended it. The salesman did call to assure me the car was sold to save me a trip and he did try to put something in my price range. For this reason 'Friendliness' is rated as good, while experience is rated as 'bad'. He was a nice guy but the timeline makes me think something was not on the up an up. Below is a timeline of events. Read it and decide for yourself. 4/16 Find a great deal on a Subaru Forester aka “Phantom“ at World Subaru. 4/17 E-mail Internet Client Care Representative,Tina Mazza, to see if the car is in stock. 4/17 2:45 PM Tina confirms the car will be ready and waiting for me at the dealership for a test drive. 4/17 5:05 PM Write back and tell her I am on my way. 4/17 6:00 Drive an hour to find the car is not at the dealership, only to find the car is on an “overnight test drive”. Salesman X, and his Manager, Mike, are apologetic. As luck would have it, there is another similar model for just a few thousand dollars more. Test drive a similar vehicle. I confirm that I like the model but the one I want is not there. Have a very pleasant conversation with Mike where I explain that I have pre-approved financing and cash on hand to put down on the vehicle. Mike leaves to check to see if the “overnight test drive” client is interested. He is not. His wife wants something newer. The Subaru “Phantom” will be back in stock tomorrow at 1:00 PM. I confirm that I am a motivated buyer. Leave last night expecting to buy the car the next day. Confirmed the vehicle will be in stock the next day for me to drive and purchase. They will notify me when it arrives. 5/17 8:32 PM E-mail Tina to say the car was not in stock as she had indicated. 5/18 11:40 AM Receive e-mail from Reginald Thompson confirming that the vehicle has arrived. His e-mail explains that I should call to speak to Salesman X that afternoon. 5/18 3:40 PM Speak to Salesman X. The car is in stock. He will put it in the back for me. I confirm that I am going their straight from work and I will be there by 7:00 PM. 5/18 5:10 PM Salesman X calls again. “Sorry, that car has been sold. My manager told me I couldn't hold it." Obviously I am more than a little annoyed. A lot changes in 90 minutes during the middle of the week, in the middle of the month, in the middle of the day at a car dealership. I was the only costumer last night between 5-6. Too bad for me. Fortunately, they do have a similar one in stock for only a thousand more than I was willing to spend. I will buy a Subaru elsewhere and spend a few thousand more to avoid these 'unfortunate' types of mishaps. More
