Customer service is terrible here in that they use deceptive methods to lure people into the dealership. What happened was, I called and spoke to Melissa. I asked her if they would match another Hyu deceptive methods to lure people into the dealership. What happened was, I called and spoke to Melissa. I asked her if they would match another Hyundai dealership's price on a Hyundai Elantra. I gave her the price, and she said they would not only match but "beat" the price. So, that statement got me in the door. She told me to ask for Melissa, who they couldn't find and she couldn't then help me so they gave me to a different salesperson. After about 1.5 hours (due to making you test drive a car, talk to this person and that person, etc), the best price they offered was $5000.00 above what they told me on the phone they would "beat". Brian (the owner or general manager--not sure which)offered the excuses: Melissa should never have promised you a price on the phone and that he just yelled at her about it, or she must have meant the price she promised included your trade-in, or that number the other dealership gave you is impossible, etc. Regarding the claim that Melissa's promised price included trade-in rebate, this was totally not true because I had called her back a few minutes later after the initial phone call to clarify that my trade-in would be taken off on top of the price she quoted. Brian made it seem like it was a one-time mishap and they don't usually do business that way. (I'm very skeptical about that, but I'll let the reader decide that). I have since had experiences with other dealerships (Toyota and Honda and Kia) that did not use such deceptive practices. They quote you a price by phone that they honor. They don't lure you in the door with a lie. More
We got quoted a price multiple times over the phone but then even calling 2 hours before we went in only to find out that the price really didnt exist. And it was all A SCAM. Well, the deal went pretty okay. We did not get our promised price because the salesperson who was supposed to be here and give us the deal was NOT here (although he will still get credit for the sale, promised price because the salesperson who was supposed to be here and give us the deal was NOT here (although he will still get credit for the sale, if you can believe that!!!). However ,we were able to settle on a decent price that we were okay with...the car itself is great ('09 Elantra GLS model) and I liked its performance on the test-drive. I look forward to permanently owning it. All in all, I would say that this dealership is so-so though. More

Our experience with this dealership was very favorable My wife and I particularly appreciated the fact that the sales person, Regina was not pushy. All the people who serviced us from that point to the very end of business that day were all pleasant, efficient, and thorough. Graham was particular efficient, and he impressed us with his candor and essy demeanor. He was easy to work with and we enjoyed doing business with him. We were particular impressed with the fact that we walked away with our plates the same day!!. We have purchaSed many cars over the years, Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Subaru,and we must say that Hundai is the most efficiently run dealership we have worked with. We will definitely refer our friends and relatives to do business with this Hundai dealership again. More
Ricky was terrific. He is engaging, fun to work with and meets the customer where they are. His sales technique was not "hard, pushy sales". He showed true concern for meeting my needs and demonstrated his appreciation for my customer loyalty to Hyundai. He sincerely and honestly worked to get me the best deal and he delivered. I am truly a satisfied customer and I will definitely refer my friends and family members to Ricky and the Matteson dealership. Ricky is a great salesman and an asset to the Matteson dealership. This was my second new car purchase at this dealership , much due to Ricky and the Hyundai unbeatable service warranty. The staff in sales and service know how to treat their customers well and they consistently put the customer first. Surprisingly, we had a blast buying our new car at World Hyundai. Mark was helpful, low-pressure, witty, clear and concise, understanding, and the list could go on. The price of the car was the lowest I heard from any dealership and there was no attempt on the dealership's part to be tricky regarding numbers. And to top it all, I got a balloon.
