I recently purchased a 2022 Palisade from World Hyundai and wanted to share my positive experience with my salesperson Matt. Matt let me know he had some arriving that were available for purchase and did not apply a hard sell to put a deposit down to hold one. As I wasn't able to make it in for a few days he did follow up with me on the day I communicated I could come in to let me know the availability of the stock on hand. He was ready when I arrived with my preferred vehicle choice and had me in the car promptly for my test drive. We engaged in the typical price negotiation and I ended up purchasing a vehicle that day. I would recommend Matt if you are looking for a pleasant sales experience. Word of advice, the finance department is slow but Matt did use that time to walk me through the vehicle features of my new car. The finance experience is the only reason I'm not giving more stars. My check engine light came on for the first time in my 2019 Hyundai Accent. Brought my car to World Hyundai Matteson to see what the issue was, after they "fixed" it they told me to pick it up & everythin 2019 Hyundai Accent. Couple days later the light was back on, so I call again letting them know so I bring it back up there. Same thing happens they tell me the fix it & a week later engine light is back on. From December 2020 up until my engine failed in November 2021 I had at least 10-12 appointments for my check engine light. That whole time up until August or October 2021 I was under warranty & they gave me the runaround saying it was fixed & it wasn't. All they said was to keep gas cap tightened & supposedly did the multi point inspection. About a week or 2 before my car stopped on the highway I heard a knocking & immediately brought this to there attention. They told me they were booked so I leave. A week or 2 after this my car stops while I'm on the highway, now they are claiming it is due to me not getting enough oil changes, LOL. Now that I'm from under warranty they denied to pay for my new engine. Before you ask yes I am taking legal actions. AVOID THIS HYUNDAI IF YOU CAN! Also when I told them I wouldn't pay them a penny to get it fixed they told me to pick up my car & let my front hood open & the cover to my engine off, so petty & childish of them More
