However when I got the vehicle out on the highway I noticed that the rotors were warped on the front and when the vehicle was stopped it vibrated very bad. I took it back to the dealership and showed them unfortunately I need to start home so the salesman told me to take it home and contact them on Monday morning. When I contacted them on Monday morning the salesman stated that since I got a good deal they wouldn't help pay for the brake job. I asked for only a portion of the cost but they said no. I never purchased a used vehicle with 19,000 miles and the brakes were bad. Someone from the service dropped the ball on this vehicle. I'm more upset at the quality of their work. More

This was troubling for several reasons. The "starting price" of $15,000 is nearly $5,000 over market value, which is ridiculous! I can only assume this is so that you can then subtract the "rebates" to make people who are not as knowledgable think they are getting a deal. Not a very ethical business practice... I didn't have a need for financing. Does this mean I don't get the "rebate" and have to pay a stupid price? I was given an online quote for my trade-in about $500 below the minimum trade in value for my car which again is a not so subtle attempt at privateering. I called and left a message for Cory asking that he call me back to discuss this discrepancy however I I didn't get a call OR an email from anyone from Woody's save for the automated messages. Since I didn't receive any feedback from anyone, I can only assume that my conjecture regarding the business practices of Woody's is correct. I went to a smaller local dealer, with a better website, reasonable prices, fair trade-in values and christian values and spent my $13,000 for a newer vehicle with lower miles and certified 1 owner on car fax. I will never even think of considering Woody's for a new car purchase and will warn anyone else thinking about of these land locked pirates! More

Best Car Buying Experience I've Ever Had I was definitely not looking forward to purchasing another vehicle after my very first experience at another dealer, but I saw all of the video review I was definitely not looking forward to purchasing another vehicle after my very first experience at another dealer, but I saw all of the video reviews online and decided to give Woody's a shot. I am so glad I did! From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a smiling face and I was able to ask a million questions without feeling like I was annoying or a nuisance. Sometimes going into a dealership alone as a woman can be intimidating, but I truly feel like they tried to help me understand everything from beginning to end and I never felt like they were trying to pull one over on me; I can't explain how much I appreciated that. The sales process was so quick and the finance department was really friendly! They made the paperwork easy to understand, so I knew exactly what I was signing. I LOVED that the price of the car was the price of the car! They didn't add on a bunch of fees at the end and I really appreciated that. Overall, it was a great experience! I would definitely recommend Woody's to all of my family and friends and have already! More
WORTH THE DRIVE Being on the South side of Kansas City, I was apprehensive about driving close to 3 hours to Chillicothe MO. However, having searched wowwoodys.com a Being on the South side of Kansas City, I was apprehensive about driving close to 3 hours to Chillicothe MO. However, having searched wowwoodys.com and noticing they had such a HUGE selection, priced right, I decided to give them a call. I spoke with Cory Huffman who was great. I asked them for a trade value over the phone. They told me that they could give me a value subject to a shop inspection, but that the best way to this was to make the drive with my trade so they could give me an accurate number. I thought about it for a few days. The deals looked so inviting! Looking at their site again, I noticed they advertised 10 acres of cars of all models and the pics looked massive. It was true. I would recommend the drive just to see all the different cars and trucks they carry. Their reviews were very positive too...in fact the only negative reviews I saw appeared to be misunderstandings or on older cars. I had heard really positive things on the street. I had to go! I was so glad I made the trip. Cory treated me so professionally. I had decided that if they could give me the same book value they were selling theirs at that I would trade. When I arrived I asked them to come down on the price of theirs. They explained that they always post the best price up front. I truly respect that. I didn't figure they would lower their price because they were already priced way less than others. They actually gave me 1000 under book value on trade, but theirs was priced 2000 UNDER the same book value. I was so happy because other dealers had given me the same trade value but had theirs priced 2000 over book value. I came out 4000.00 better off. The price and selection convinced me to drive, but the way I was treated will keep me coming back even if I don't save 4000. The people were all so friendly and professional. I will be buying another vehicle for my son for college soon and you can bet I will make the drive. More
Horrible, awful, dishonest and disappointing I contacted this dealership because they had an awesome price on a vehicle I was looking for. They advertised on Cars.com AND on their website a 2013 I contacted this dealership because they had an awesome price on a vehicle I was looking for. They advertised on Cars.com AND on their website a 2013 Ford Escape, their stock number 13D145 for $17,945. I contacted Polly and she informed me that Woody's was a one price dealership. After all the inspections were complete, etc. they took my financing information to see if they could obtain a better deal than what I had received. Polly informed me that I was approved and my payments would be $xxx.xx per month. I questioned the amount, and she stated, well the purchase price is $20,995 over 60 months, etc is how you get to your payment amount. I informed her at that point that the website stated $17,945 for the vehicle. Her GM then called me and told me to "prove it". I saw the correct price, my friend saw the correct price, even my coworkers saw the correct price ($17,945). I had wished I printed out the proof, but I did not. I saved the favorite on Cars.com, and the dealership changed the Cars.com listing as well as their website before contacting me back. He got very belligerent with me and in the end told me he would not sell the car for that price. I am certain that their thinking was I would "roll over" and take the car even with the higher price. I was planning to travel from Chicago to Kansas City to purchase this vehicle. In my opinion, it is a horrible way to do business. The GOOD part is I found a car elsewhere, closer to my home, for an awesome price, at a reputable dealership that truly cares about their customers. I would strongly suggest that anyone looking for a vehicle exclude Woody's from their dealership list. By the way, they still have the car on their lot today. They have had it almost a year. More
Wasted 2hr drive, Deceptive Advertising I saw a 2005 Honda Civic for sale on Woody's website. I emailed Polly a couple times about the vehicle and their price. At no time on thier listing pa I saw a 2005 Honda Civic for sale on Woody's website. I emailed Polly a couple times about the vehicle and their price. At no time on thier listing page, or in any email was it mentioned that the vehicle had a salvage/rebuilt title. I decided that I wanted to buy this car and got up at 6am to drive the 2 hours to get there and start the process. Upon arrival I asked to speak with Polly since she was the one that emailed with me. I told her which vehicle I was there to see and she immediatley stated "oh, the one with the salvage title" I asked what she meant and she said that vehicle had a salvage title. I was a little taken aback by this as it had never been mentioned before. Polly said she wanted to go and check to make sure she was correct about the title. Before she got up to go and do that she looked an me and in a very polite voice told me that if i had called she would have told me about the title and would have checked to see if the car was still for sale and how it was monday morning and it might have sold over the weekend. I was getting scolded and being told it was my fault that I didn't know about the title. I have a very short fuse, trying to not lose my temper I turned to leave, Polly called after me. I have no idea what she said but the tone of voice pushed me over the edge. I turned back and exploded that I didn't drive 2 hours first thing in the morning just to be lectured about what I should have done and how it was my fault I didnt know about the title. I'm sorry to say that they hide if it is a clean title or not by saying there is a like to the vehicle report on the listing but they don't actually say its a bad title on the listing. I also can't believe that someone in the sales industry would lecture a possible customer on anything. That does not sell cars. I won't be taking that drive again, I don't care if they are giving cars away. I also won't be reccomending anyone else make the drive either. Never know what else they are hiding until you have driven from a long way away to get to them and feel stuck. More
