Didn't fix my trucks issue and caused me to run off the road I had my truck in at Wood Smith Ford. I told them there is a weird grinding sound up on my front wheel. My truck had also just thrown a code the day before I had it in the shop. They took it in and replaced a sensor. I picked it up later the next night right before they closed. When I started my truck none of the codes had been cleared out and it was still making the grinding sound. I had to drive from Rexburg to Jackson Wy. The next morning and while in Jackson the front tire completely locked up and caused me to run off the road. I looked at my front wheel and there were metal shavings all over the wheel and the hub was smoking. I called Woody Smith Ford and sat on hold for 40 minutes. I called back and got a run around that everyone was on lunch. I called down to Lithia Ford Broadway in Idaho Falls and they had me lined up with a tow truck and taken care of in minutes. I still have not been able to get ahold of Woody Smith Ford and it has been three days now. I think they know something... I will be taking all of my personal and all of American Construction Supply's business to Lithia from here on out. Woody Smith will also be paying for my tow truck and the bill from Lithia Ford. The place is a JOKE. They have a new sales team about every two weeks. They all seem to be more interested in scrolling intstagram than selling cars. I cant even get them to get me a price on getting a new truck for me and a new car for my wife. The facility is literally a trailer house and their inventory is impossible to look at because its all packed in so tight you can't drive around and all the inventory is filthy. This is not my first bad experience with Woody Smith Ford. It sure as xxxx is the last experience I will have with Woody Smith Ford. More

I am a student here at the university, my husband works full time and we just had a baby. We came prepared with what we were willing to spend, what type of car we were hoping to find and also had a down payment in mind that we were willing to put towards the car. We were greeted by Austin the salesman who took us outside right away to look at some cars as requested by my husband. We took a test drive in the 2008 Acadia previously owned by an elderly women who traded in for a smaller SUV. Austin was very polite and held conversation throughout the test drive. The greatest thing was that this car was the car my husband and I had been following online (we browsed online before coming to the dealer, way helpful, highly recommend). We decided to go with the purchase of the car. As college students/starting family we didn't have that big of a budget with nearly no credit, but we were happy to see that Woody Smith Ford was able to make a reasonable deal with us that didn't break our bank! Austin took the time to listen with us, get to know us and was able to relate to us. He followed through with the sale and kept us in the loop while we were waiting for the banks approval. We had to gather everal peices of info for the bank that we weren't prepared for, but Austin helped us locate those sources by giving us internet access while coming up with ideas ok what we could give the bank. This was our first experience financing a car, and overall it was not intimidating, or overwhelming! I would highly recommend coming here, regardless of age or experience with buying cars! Before living in Rexburg we lived in Seattle Washington and have had less positive experience with bigger dealerships in bigger cities. More

Was told the truck had been through the shop and was good to go. I continued with the paperwork, traded in my current truck and gave them 5500.00 down payment. Loan wasn't completely approved but they let me take it. Not even 3 weeks of owning it, I find coolant all over the driver side fender well. I'm from Idaho Falls so I took it to the closest dealer, "Broadway Ford". They inspected the truck, did there tests and found the truck needs head gaskets. 5500.00 repair by they way. So I call back woody smith and tell them, They agree to fix the truck asap. Long story short, Come to find out Woody Smith never inspected the truck, "so I was lied to", and the truck was suppost go into the shop the day I brought it there. It is now a week later, and they haven't even touched the truck, and they keep giving me the run around!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ANY WOODY SMITH STORES!!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION!!!! BUYER BEWARE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE Update, they dodge my phone calls, I've been hung up on several times, they know they were caught with there pants down on this one, and to ad to it, they took the loaner vehicle they gave me to drive. What the xxxx kind of service is that???? More

My 97 F250 Diesel needed an oil/lube/filter and general service inspection. I also had a diesel leak and a concern about my transmission heating up...When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted warmly and after discussing my concerns found that the work would probably take most of the day...I was given a loaner (2014 Fusion) for the day which allowed me to tour the town (I lived 90 miles away). After spending a leisurely day in Rexburg I return to find out that they needed to order more parts according to my approved repairs and the parts wouldn't be in for a couple of days. I was able to return home in "the loaner", great car by the way, and then return two days later to pickup my truck. The work was excellent, the repairs were effective, and I'm really pleased. The service staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The service mangers Nikki and Shane and the service writer Tricia were great...Thanks, I'll be back! More
