I was pleased with my experience at Village. It's the second vehicle I've bought from them, and overall the second vehicle I've wanted but didn't know if I could afford. I had been to another dealership just down the street and was quite unimpressed with the lack of professionalism and follow-through. I found Leval Evans to be extremely knowledgable, friendly, and responsive. Tom Kastadi, the General Sales Manager, wanted my business and made me feel good about my new car purchase. Across the board, this was the best experience I've had purchasing a new automobile. Kudos to the entire Village Buick staff!!! More
I purchased my car in January with the 6 month bumper to bumper coverage. I asked the dealer (Nick) numerous specifics of what would be covered because I have had so many problems with my previous car. His bumper coverage. His response to every question was "yes that's covered" or "everything is." I chose this car over one from a different dealership because I felt comfortable with the coverage I was apparently getting. Everything he told me was a bold face lie to seal the deal. He even told me lights were covered, (because my old car needed a new one monthly...another lie) My car is now 4 months old and has about 8 issues, something new everyday. I call to make an appt. and I am told unfortunately every issue I brought up is not covered. (Air leak, speaker problem, turn signal problem, tire issue). He did not mention anything that wasn't covered, let alone every issue I have. I was told now that if they perform a diagnosis on the parts I am having problems with, I have to pay for that as well as the parts to fix it, because nothing is covered. So far, I am extremely irritated with this car. I encounter a new problem everyday, and the dealer made me believe I could be comfortable for the first 6 months. I recommend a voice recorder from anyone buying from this place, because he fed my mom and I lies to get us to buy it and get out of there. More
We bought a used car from them in November 2011. When we test drove the car, the rear seat head rests were missing and we asked about the second keyless remote and were told they had both but were in other test drove the car, the rear seat head rests were missing and we asked about the second keyless remote and were told they had both but were in other building which was locked until the next day but were assured that if we purchased the car the sales person would personally deliver both the headrests and the keyless remote the following day. It took a week to get the headrests and when I drove to the dealership to pick up the keyless remote, they handed me the empty shell of a remote in pieces. I asked what they would be doing about the remote they had promised and they again assured me that they would very easily and quickly order and deliver one. After a month I contacted Tom, the manager, and was again assured by him. Its been a total of three months now since buying the car and no one has returned my call or delivered the part they promised. Also after test driving the car, the battery died and had to be charged before we could leave. I questioned the quality of the battery and suggested that it should be replaced before we buy. I was assured that the battery had been tested by their own mechanic, "the best mechanic in the world", and there would not be a problem. The battery has died three times in the three months since we bought it and when I did have it tested outside of Village I was told it absolutely needs to be replaced. As you can guess, I still haven't heard from Village Buick GMC on possibly getting a discounted price for a new battery that they should have replaced before we bought the car. More
Brian Galloway is a retired Arizona cop. He was honest and friendly and extremely helpful During the entire process Brian treated me and my wife with respect and consideration. We never felt any undue pressure to make a decision quickly. Brian and his manager even sent us over to another dealership to compare their vehicle with a different brand vehicle. They were confident that we would return. They gave us a SUV to test drive overnight and really bent over backwards to make the experience easy and comfortable. They took care of the paperwork very quickly. My wife and I left our licenses at the dealership by accident and Tom Kastrati (the manager) went back to the dealership after hours to retrieve the licenses for us. They even took care of a tiny ding in the new vehicle - free of charge - after we had it for a couple of days. These guys are trustworthy and honest. I highly recommend them. The final price of the vehicle was directly in line with the internet invoice price. Overall, a very pleasant experience! More
After a day of dealing with sales people at other dealerships (I was hunting for a new vehicle and hadn't made up my mind) I arrived at Village Buick. Mark Oliver was my sales person. He was friendly and helpful without being overbearing, he answered all my questions, treated my daughter with respect and took account of her opinion. While I knew that he wanted a sale, I also so appreciated the fact that he didn't push me. I loved the test driving facility, the service was brilliant and it made an experiencve I was dreading actually quite pleasant. I love that Mark delivered the car to my house and took the time to really connect with me. I would recommend him to other buyers and would buy from him again. I love my new car and cant say enough positive things about Mark and Village Buick. More
We had to drive about an hour and a half to arrive at the dealership and I was not interested in going to a Chicago area dealership to look for or purchase a vehicle....however...I was so VERY pleased with o dealership and I was not interested in going to a Chicago area dealership to look for or purchase a vehicle....however...I was so VERY pleased with our salesman! He answered our questions and gave us options that we had not considered, this helped us make an informed decision that led us to the vehicle that was right for us. Thank you, Tom, for your assistance. We'll be back the next time we are in need of a vehicle change and will recommend this dealership and salesman to our friends and family. More
My husband & I went to this location to look at a particular used vehicle, but we were disappointed that it did not fit our family lifestyle. A used Acadia was just brought into this location so we proceeded to take it for a test drive & realized that this was the perfect fit for us. This was a very pleasant experience. More
