Hello Ron, I saw your post on another website and already responded to that one. Today I noticed your post appeared here. I do appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Thank you for your purchase. I understand where you've been happy with certain departments of our dealership in the past, but the used car experience this time was not satisfactory for your most recent purchase. I'm sorry to hear that. We do take customer feedback seriously and address concerns with our staff to see what can be done differently and how to do better. My managers I talked with about your situation would have loved to have helped while you were here, but they didn't know there was a concern about the 2nd key or fuel. I'm sure if they had known what was going on, they would have given a full tank of gas and made arrangements for another key fob for you. I'm sorry these issues were not brought to their attention. Used vehicles don't normally have a second key. Some do, but if a 2nd key wasn't given to us as a trade-in vehicle, then the vehicle is sold as is with just the one key. It can be a special request worked out in the deal to get something like a key taken care of. We want fuel in all vehicles that leave here, so for there to be a gas light flashing for being on empty is ridiculous. Normally the staff that preps the car to be sold takes care of that in advance, but it was not done. We will take steps to make sure nothing like this happens again. Hello Melissa, I am very sorry to hear you were not pleased with your last visit here at our dealership. We absolutely do honor warranties. Nissan outlines what mileage or time period is covered under warranty for various parts of the vehicle. When something is a manufacturer defect, we can pursue a warranty claim for someone. If something is broken or damaged in some way, however, we can't pursue a warranty for that repair or replacement. From what I have heard from staff members that either saw your vehicle or spoke with you, the rear view mirror was broken. We would not be able to submit a warranty claim to Nissan for that. You are welcome to have someone else on staff take a look at the mirror. If that service person does agree that it is broken, we will not be able to do a warranty on the mirror, though. It is sad to hear you feel we have slimy practices. We have many happy customers that would go nowhere else for service on their vehicles. We encourage customers that if they do have an issue, however, that they should reach out to a manager on staff to try to resolve the matter. I don't know if you did that while you were here.
