Never Again I have purchased 3 cars from here as well as sent others to purchase cars from here. They state they perform a thorough inspection on the vehicles wh I have purchased 3 cars from here as well as sent others to purchase cars from here. They state they perform a thorough inspection on the vehicles which is clearly false when a 40k mileage vehicle that had been on your lot for months hasn't received the recommend maintenance for 15k and 30k. Not only that, you refuse to perform it AND do not return phone calls. This has happened with a few of the vehicles purchased here. Not good customer service at all. More

Sales Tax scam October 16. My wife went to Woodmen Nissan to shop for a new 2019 Nissan Murano automobile. She told them that she wanted to pay $36,000 total after a October 16. My wife went to Woodmen Nissan to shop for a new 2019 Nissan Murano automobile. She told them that she wanted to pay $36,000 total after all taxes, and they said they could do that. She signed a Buyer's Agreement where Total Amount Due was 35,990.60. She did not have her checkbook, so did not pay, and did not drive the car off the lot. When she got home, we discovered that the Agreement included only State Sales Tax, and Not City, County & Other Sales Taxes. We would have to pay those when registering the vehicle. $2200+ additional. Woodmen Nissan tried to trick her into paying an additional thousands over the agreed upon price! October 18. Both, my wife and I, went to Woodmen Nissan to get the price corrected to include all sales taxes, as agreed upon, and then pay for the automobile. When confronted with the problem, the agents at Woodmen Nissan at first said that it was too late, and it was a "done deal". Then when they couldn't convince us of that, they started offering compromise prices, re-negotiating the deal. The agent would leave the room, come back with a new offer, which we would reject, and then leave, get a new offer, etc. It was confrontational and traumatic for us. My wife finally accepted an offer, just to get it over with, and get me to calm down. In the end she ended up paying $36,553.17, over $500 more than the originally agreed upon price. I have searched on Internet regarding this scam by Woodmen Nissan, and there are instances of this happening to other people, too. Most of them did not discover that they would have to pay Sales taxes until they attempted to register the vehicle. Then they complained to Woodmen Nissan and ended up negotiating a "compromise". I wonder how many people don't complain and just eat the extra cost, either due to timidity, or ignorance. This only happens to Cash buyers. People that buy with a bank loan, do not experience this problem, because banks are too smart to fall for this trick. I believe Nissan Woodmen is guilty of fraud because they said one thing and knowingly wrote out a buyer's agreement that did not match what they had just verbally agreed to. When confronted with the fraud, they did not deny it, and did not rectify it. I think car dealerships should not be able to trick customers with this sales tax scam, and that it should be made illegal, explicitly. More
