We decided it was time for a new car so I checked online and found the one I wanted. We printed out the online coupon and then headed over to Atchley Ford. We had our two boys with us and they loved the new van (we all did). They asked if we could take it home right now. We said it would take a little while, but we would see. After receiving an phenomenal online quote from Cory just minutes after I had sent a quote inquiry off to the dealership, I visited Atchley Ford twice before deciding to buy the car I was interested in. Chris understands how to read people and adjusts his sales tactics appropriately- I appreciate that skill. The only feedback on improvement would be the paperwork administrator. He was matter of fact & got the job done, just not as pleasant as the rest of the team I had encountered. My wife & I had bought a Ford Edge recently at Atchley, now the 2012 F150 Lariat. As long as Atchley can provide a great deal on our vehicles with fair trade, we are very comfortable in conducting return business. The Christmas cookies were great! I definitely had a GREAT experience with Atchley Ford. The entire dealership was clean and neat. My vehicle, along with the many others, were meticulously detailed, clean, and SHINY [:-)]. The only part that I wish was different was the price I paid for my vehicle. The price I paid was the starting asking price. I understand that it was LESS than what the vehicle was worth. But, with the large amount of miles, I figured they would understand my slightly lower offer. But, again, MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE was DEFINITELY a 4.9 out of 5.0. Chris made an accurate assessment of what it was going to take to sell me a new Ranger. Unlike two other salesmen at two other dealerships, he was willing to start the negotiations on my terms. It was all take to sell me a new Ranger. Unlike two other salesmen at two other dealerships, he was willing to start the negotiations on my terms. It was all about the bottom-line for me; I understood what my vehicle was worth and what Ford rebates were. I think I left $500 on the table, but that is OK because Chris moved at the speed I wanted in closing the deal.
