I made an appointment and they stated that a water bottle must have knocked it lose. Another time they had me make an appointment and I left it there all day and the same happened, nothing wrong. This past weekend, I didn't notice the light but when I went in for an oil change, they stated it was on and that I needed to bring it back on Tuesday. But then said they would give me a loaner due to it being a safety issue. Long story short, they called today and said that the sensor under the seat was knocked lose due to water bottles being underneath. They said I owe for the technician for looking at it and for the diagnostic. On top of this they stated I owe for the loaner car. A few hundred dollars because they said I caused it. They later stated I now owed $177 and was doing ME a favor. The car is still under warranty. This has been an ongoing issue with the light. They pick and chose when they want to charge. Are the service people that sign you in on commission because this is ridiculous. If they had stated that I were possibly responsible for this, I would have taken it elsewhere to get it checked out. They assured me it's under 36,000 miles so I have the warranty. They won't explain why the last time I was not charged when the cord was lose under the seat, although they keep notes on the vehicles. I do NOT recommend their service department. They are looking to make money somewhere and now this is what they pull. More
I’ve always had terrible experiences with the dealer I originally got my car from (Rohrman) I would avoid doing service there and pay out of pocket elsewhere. I came here to get some service done under warranty and Nicholas was amazing. So kind, helpful and efficient. He was patient with me with my scheduling needs and accommodated a ride to take me home as well. I really appreciated his positive and upbeat attitude, kindness goes a long way. Especially in a dealership where i always dread going as a woman. Great customer service , I’ll definitely be back for all my car needs! More

Worse car purchasing experience ever. I purchased a used 2021 Nissan Rogue late one evening in August 2021. John Hadden, the sales person was quick to have the plates removed from my old car as the trade-in 2021 Nissan Rogue late one evening in August 2021. John Hadden, the sales person was quick to have the plates removed from my old car as the trade-in and placed on the new car. I was thinking that I would pick the new car up when I brought in the title and spare car key. I soon learn way the rush to get me off the lot at 9:00pm that evening. On my way home I realized that I did not like the car as much as I thought I did. It was not a good fit for me and I did not have much time to think about the “Apple Car Play” concept of not have an actual Navigation System in the car. I quickly realized that this car was not going to work for me since I depend on a navigation system heavily. I did not want to consistently use phone data when traveling. I called the dealership 9:45am the next morning to tell John Hadden that I needed to return this car for those reason. I was told by him and Sales Managers George Chavez and Mario Rapacz , the Used Car Sales Manager that I could not return a car. I pleated with them to take this car back and not to sale my old 2012 Rogue. I was told that a deal is a deal and that they could do what they wanted with my old car because I signed it over to him. They sold the car on Thursday without me bringing the title or the spare car key to them. They don’t care about the customer. They only care about making a sale by any means necessary. This dealership will not send you an invitation to write a review on the Woodfield Nissan website if you’ve had a bad experience with them. You will only find customer reviews that are a 5 on the website. More
Scott Gabrenya the service manager is a con artist. He doesn’t care about repeat customers or loyalty. Nothing like his brother the fire chief Bill Gabrenya. I bought a Nissan Murano in 2018. Every time I have taken my car in, I have gotten excellent customer service. Honest, reliable, fairly priced and considerate. Jose in the service department was exceptional. my car in, I have gotten excellent customer service. Honest, reliable, fairly priced and considerate. Jose in the service department was exceptional. They have never tried to sell me on unnecessary services, they simply and clearly explain what is recommended and go out of their way to be helpful and efficient. I would highly recommend their service department. More
Bad dealership. Buyer beware. I purchased 3 cars from this dealership- brand new. I returned with an issue for 1 car. The car was misdiagnosed and I still have the problem. I asked repeatedly to speak to this dealership- brand new. I returned with an issue for 1 car. The car was misdiagnosed and I still have the problem. I asked repeatedly to speak to the service manager. It’s been a week and I haven’t heard back. They wouldn’t do right for someone who purchased 3 cars so they definitely won’t do right by anyone. This is a new sale review. We purchased a 2021 Nissan This is a new sale review. We purchased a 2021 Nissan Altima Platinum car from Woodfield Nissan. Our experience was excellent. Our first co This is a new sale review. We purchased a 2021 Nissan Altima Platinum car from Woodfield Nissan. Our experience was excellent. Our first contact with Woodfield Nissan was through John, their internet shopping specialist. John was easy to work with and gave me direct answers to my questions. We discussed the current customer cash offers. John made me feel comfortable so I made an appointment to visit the showroom. He told me that I should ask for Mario. When I arrived at the showroom, I was greeting by Mario, the manager. Mario was aware of my conversation with John, including the pricing. Mario introduced me to Ray, the salesman. The car I had discussed with John was already pulled up by the showroom so I could see it. I asked about a different color interior, which they had in stock, and they brought that new car over for me to see. Ray provided me with the pricing details. I made a second appointment to come back to buy the car. When I arrived, they had the car ready to go. I went to their finance manager to purchase the car. He answered my questions and the process was smooth. After we finished the paperwork, Ray explained the various controls in the car. In my opinion, everyone was professional and helpful. If a friend needs a Nissan, I will happily take them to this dealership. More
Woodfield Nissan is the absolute WORST!!!! Do yourself a favor and avoid doing business with them. Trust me, it will save you a lot of time, money, and stress. I’ll just give the highlights on why I am taki favor and avoid doing business with them. Trust me, it will save you a lot of time, money, and stress. I’ll just give the highlights on why I am taking the time to write this, my first, review: • I’ve taken my leased Nissan Sentra there for same issue with the push-button starter 6 times and they’ve never been able to find a lasting solution. Their “fix” works for a few weeks or months but inevitably fails again and leave me stranded without the ability to get the car to turn on. All I can conclude is that their service department doesn’t know what they’re doing. • Worse than their Service Department is their Sales team. After speaking with a lease manager and making an appointment to turn in my leased Rogue to them, I arrive and I’m greeted by a new Sales Manager, J. Mallinder, who promptly tells me, that he won’t take it back because “you didn’t lease it from us and he needs to reserve the spots on his lot for his customers.” Sorry, I thought after leasing my last seven cars from Nissan, I was a “customer.” He told me to bring it back to the dealership I got it from, which is 40 minutes away whereas Woodfield Nissan is 3 minutes from my house. When I asked to speak with the GM, he basically said everyone of authority is not in the dealership and he hands me a business card not for the GM I asked for but for another “Sales Manager.” The experience this person offered me, a continuous customer of Nissan since 2008, was utterly devoid of a sense of service or salesmanship. I’ll continue to do business with the company through Billy Warner with the Start Nissan dealership in Niles, which is pretty far out of my way but it worth it. Like I said, if you’re in the market for a Nissan and reading reviews on where to buy, my advice is to avoid doing business with Woodfield Nissan in Schaumburg at all costs….because it’ll cost you. Don’t take my word alone for it, just look at their pitifully low ratings with nearly 200 people who took time out of their day to try to warn you. More
