My husband and I went to Woodfield Lexus to look at a new RX350. We were introduced to Tod Ericsson who showed us a 2013 RX350 and we took a spin. Although it was a nice vehicle, we found it too small for our needs. Tod did an amazing thing that most salesman never do! He actually talked to us and asked us questions about our lifestyle and hobbies etc... Tod was extremely pleasant and conversational, which made the whole event the least stressful car buying experience either one of us have ever had. We ended up purchasing a certified preowned GX460, that fit our needs and our budget perfectly! Not only was Tod very pleasant, every single person from Robert, the used car manager, to Caryn in finance were just fantastic. Our fear of buying preowned was nullified by the included 3 year / 100,000 mile warranty that covers everything but normal wear items. We also were given new car rates! After the financing was complete, Alex the accessory expert, took a great deal of time going over how to use all the interior accessories! WOW! Most dealerships could care less if you even know how to turn on the headlights to drive home once they have your money. We will be buying our next vehicle there too! I have never done a review like this but felt these Lexus representatives really deserved recognition. We had no affiliation with this dealer and had never been here before. The price was a fair price for our trade as well as the vehicle we bought. We have had our vehicle a week and went on a 800 mile round trip and enjoyed the entire ride! We felt very comfortable working with him on our purchase, which was part of the Costco Members program and we felt we could trust Terris in giving us the Costco discount, in addition to extra offers if available. We will send our family members and friends to Terris when they are in the market for a Lexus. How fortunate this dealer is to have Terris as one of their sales reps. The dealership was spotless, very professional/classy looking and every person we interacted with during our purchase was friendly, knowledgable and very helpful. It made our car buying experience...a pleasure. How refreshing! More
Dave and Martin always do a great job as far as being honest with me, and keeping me updated on everything going on with my car. Came in to have rear window lightbulb replaced. Was told would be ready in less than an hour. One hour later, Keith Ullberg advises me that I need four lightbulbs replaced to the tune of $237. I app told would be ready in less than an hour. One hour later, Keith Ullberg advises me that I need four lightbulbs replaced to the tune of $237. I approve this. He then tells me I need new brakes for $432 and timing belt replacement. This is the second time I am told by YOUR service department that I need new timing belt. This was replaced a couple years ago at Madison, WI Lexus. As for the brakes, I was told I needed new brakes last summer - I believe again, this was by Keith. I make an appointment for brakes at your dealership. I bring it in last Fall and am told "no, your brakes are still good" - you are fine until at least next time. Over 11 years, I have had ALL my service work performed at Lexus dealers. I cannot believe that you cannot keep my records straight and provide better service. Keith stated I need a new timing belt because "there is no sticker" on the engine. What the heck? Since when does a mechanic judge a service need based on "a sticker" ?? Especially something of this cost magnitude? Keith was rude and not at all friendly. Told me it is my responsibility to "know the car". How was he to know he had to check a National file to see what service I have had. He never apologized. Why was I not given the sheet of paper that shows the statistics on the brakes? I asked the receptionist to make a copy? When I get home, I see that a blank ccopy is attached. What happened to the copy that showed I need new brakes? I will NOT be returning to Lexus of Schaumburg given that a) I have no trust in your service department and b) I was treated very poorly by Keith Ullberg. More

He was respectful and friendly. I could not have asked for a better sales experience. I would recommend Terris to anyone wishing to purchase a Lexus. Previous car buying experiences with other salesman and other dealerships (not Lexus) were horrible experiences. My experience with Terris was outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful and pleasurable car buying experience. I will come back to Terris and Lexus when I will need a new car next year for a family member. More
