I was looking for a 2013 Lexus ES350 and I contacted several Lexus dealerships in the Chicagoland area over the phone and by email. This review is based only on the purchasing process and price negotiations because I did not end up purchasing from this dealer. I contacted Pat about purchasing my new Lexus. He was very forthcoming and gave me a decent price off the bat. I asked if he could come down lower by another $500. He put me on hold and came back and said that his manager said Yes. I thanked him and told him I'd get back to him. He called me the next day to follow up. I do feel bad that I was unable to give Pat this sale, but I hope this review will help him get more sales. The only reason I did not purchase from Woodfield Lexus is because I live in the city and the dealership was 26 miles away from me. The price I received was the lowest price out of the 5 dealerships that I contacted. Unfortunately, for him McGrath was alot closer to me. However, I felt that I needed to give Pat credit for making negotiations for a new car very easy and with no high pressure sales. More

I honestly didn't know to expect from Woodfield Lexus as my wife and I are frequent customers at a competitor Lexus dealership in the North Shore of Chicago. Upon looking up and researching dealer rating as my wife and I are frequent customers at a competitor Lexus dealership in the North Shore of Chicago. Upon looking up and researching dealer ratings, Woodfield had a significantly higher rating on dealerrater.com and also Yelp as well. What also caught my attention was Terris Cooper's stellar review/track record. I decided to give him a shot, so I gave him a call early in the morning to make sure he was in office and he called me back leaving a message stating he was. I texted back and forth with him through the afternoon and was very responsive to my inquiries regard my vehicle of interest. I arrived at the dealership later on in the day and met with Terris. I checked out the car with my father and immediately began negotiations. When it was all said and done, one word to describe Terris Cooper: Professional. From start to finish, Terris was attentive, very direct and to the point with very little xx. We worked with his sales manager Glen and both were very upfront about pricing and to tell you the truth, I expected to do a ton of haggling but it ended up being as painless as possible. We agreed upon a mutual price and it was fairly smooth sailing from there. I would recommend anybody in the Chicagoland area to visit Woodfield Lexus, but primarily Terris Cooper. He ended up staying late past the time he was supposed to leave and help me set up the navi/electronics and went through the whole car to set it up. I'm impressed with his patience and knowledge and would definitely give him my future business down the road. More
We knew that we wanted a Lexus RX350. We were shopping for the right dealership, the right price, and the right color of car. We had been to a few Lexus dealerships and had driven the RX350. We had not for the right dealership, the right price, and the right color of car. We had been to a few Lexus dealerships and had driven the RX350. We had not been to Woodfield Lexus, but we found them on the internet. Their website is great because it pictures and describes the cars they have; we were not told to call the dealership to find out what they had. We drove in on a Friday morning and met Dan Rosen, who became our salesman. They had many RX350s to chose from and several that we were interested in. When we finally selected the one we liked the best, the process was pretty simple. We arrived at a price. We told Dan we were going to go to lunch to think about it. After lunch, we called Dan, returned to the dealership, and finalized the deal with Yasmine Azam. We also met Josh Resnick, the GM. The next morning our beautiful new car was waiting for us. Dave Gustafson spent about an hour going over the controls, etc., and then we were on the road. We have had the car for a little over 2 months and have found it to be a terrific car. We are happy with the Lexus and also with Woodfield Lexus. More
I made an appointment to see the car I wanted and it was thoroughly cleaned and waiting when we arrived. The negotiation was transparent and fair. Even though I gave Terris and the sales director Robert a hard time with a ton of questions and challenges they stayed friendly and open through it all. When I asked for a moment (or three) to discuss something in private with my fiance, they were gracious enough to give us the time we needed. Never did I feel like I was being pushed or coerced or that they were using sales tactics against me. My end result was a fair price and competitive financing on the exact car I wanted. The lounge made those long downtime moments comfortable. The coffee and donuts were premium. At one point a family had their kids running around and the receptionist graciously showed them to the private kids play room. After my sale was finish, Terris took the time to walk me through all the features of my car. The service team had left a few areas of wax on the car and he took the time to wipe them off myself and install my plates. I drove away with freshly waxed car, new plates installed. Lets be honest- buying a car in general is not the most fun experience. Terris and the team at Woodfield made it phenomenal. There's nothing about the experience I would change. More
Our salesman, Marty, was by far the most fantastic car salesman I have ever worked with. We have purchased two cars from him. On our first purchase Marty provided us with excellent supportive materials regarding the car we were interested in such as safety data, how well the car maintains its value as it ages, comparison to other similar vehicles, etc. On our second purchase Marty saw an opportunity for us to upgrade our car by two years with very little monetary outlay on our part. He called us and we went to see the car. By the time we arrived the car had been sold. However, we still looked at the financials involved and Marty said he could order the car with exactly what I wanted on it. Since it would take two weeks for the car to come in Marty gave us a very nice Lexus to drive until our car arrived. Marty gets just as excited about your new car as you are. He loves to make sure that purchasing a car is an exciting and positive experience. His follow up is incredible. He calls us on a regular basis to make sure we are happy and find out if there is anything he can help us with. I HIGHLY recommend Marty and, with as much enthusiasm, Woodfield Lexus. I am a customer for life. More
I needed to trade in my old Lexus and came to the dealer where it was originally purchased because we were always treated well here. I got a great car at a great price. If I am going to drop money on a luxury car, aside from getting a quality automobile, I expect good customer service and a service center which is not a bunch of vultures trying to get me to pay for thing I don't need. There are other car dealers in the area I won't consider visiting again specifically for these reasons. I got great customer service all around and when I brought my old Lexus in for service, Keith Ullberg was extremely helpful, then when I wanted to look into getting a new car, he introduced me Mark Demma and after Mark got me into a new Lexus, Alex Flores was great about walking me through the features of my new car. Very happy with my new car and very happy with the quality of customer service. More

He drove me to the Toyota dealership down the street, where he explained the Toyota Matrix to me. He test drove it along with me and ended up selling it to me as well. Terris is the type of salesman who makes one feel incredibly comfortable. I never felt like he was trying to upsell me, but rather provide me the best car and finances for me. He also helped me trade my car in, which seems daunting but Terris made it feel like a piece of cake! I will always go back to him for any cars I buy in the future, and would recommend him to anyone.
